This review is from: Three Catholic Writers of the Modern South (Paperback)
The author handles these writers with competence, if not excitement. Percy is a star writer, and Tate had a lyrical gift. Gordon seems less a candidate for this pantheon, but Brinkmeyer writes objectively, intelligently and fairly about all three.
