Engaging Children's Book,

I was introduced to this book by a student who visits Sweden regularly to visit family. It is an amusing tale, which is very entertaining for young children. I have read it aloud to my second and third grade students for many years now, and it is always one of their favorites. The Swedish names of characters and towns will not be familiar to American children, but the adventure tale is universally understood: how to conquer your fears with the love and support of family.
