5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome!
Not only is the band name catchy and edgy, but the songs are great. After getting hooked on Trend from watching it on MTV, I took a listen to the song samples on their record label site and was knocked out. This is definitely one that I will tell all my friends about.

2.0 out of 5 stars It's Not that Great
I see most of these reviews paraising this album. It's alright at best. the writing is sub-par. The only stand out tracks are "Trend" and "Drive" and all the others aren't really worth listening to a 2nd time. To compare this to Butch Walker's "Left of Self-centered" is crazy. Nothing can really be better than that album.

In june of 2004, I saw the band frickin a in concert, and they played most if not all of their songs. I loved every second of the whole show. I thought all the songs were really awesome. Jason Short was both hot, and a very good bassist. I will buy the album very shortly. It's a very good cd if you ask me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Frickin' expensive, but worth it, January 28, 2005
This review is from: Frickin' A (Audio CD)
I saw the video for trend on mtv and knew I had to get into this band. That song was simply amazing because the lyrics are so true. No matter who you are; a jock, a prep, a loser, a stoner ect. you can relate to how everyone is trying to jump on everyone else's trendy bandwagon...for the moment, until it dies. N*e*way, I went out to get the CD thinkin it would be cheap cuz' their not too well known...it was 20 "frickin'" bucks!!! But yeah, its worth every penny. My favorite songs would have to be "drive", "trend", "party like a rock star" and "cut number 7", an acoustic track that talks about writing an awesome song that nobody will ever hear cuz of record company bulls**t. If you're into pop-punk or pop-rock, you gotta pick this one up. Its WAY worth it...

5.0 out of 5 stars Frickin' A- Big Egos No Ideas(Frickin' A) Review, December 16, 2004
This review is from: Frickin' A (Audio CD)
This is by far the best album I have bought in a very long time. I absolutely love every song from 1 to 10, and I love merry frickin' christmas as well. The album is outstanding! If you've only heard a song or two on the radio, BUY THIS ALBUM!! It is excellent. I saw them in concert in August, and that was the best concert I've ever seen. And I've seen: No Doubt, Offspring, Alannis Morisette, etc. I just saw them at a local nightclub on 12/15/04, they did a small acoustic set and signed autographs. They were very nice, didn't mind talking to you, and sounded great in person. I talked to Jason the lead singer for a few minutes, and he was very cool. Thanks for reading, now go buy the album on amazon!

5.0 out of 5 stars best new frickin band I've heard in a long time, December 11, 2004

You cannot pass this up. Catchy phrases, unbelievable rhythms. These songs are so good, I find myself singing them all day long. The guitars are great, and although the singer's voice is not trained, it is endearing. "Drive" and "Trend" are the shining stars.... The Red Sox song (not available on the initial release) is killer - especially if you hate the Yankees, like me) and should eventually be included as a bonus track. WHAT A FRICKIN CD! You must own it. Unless, of course, you're a lame ass sore loser Yankee fan from NY!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA

The CD by Frickin' A entitled Big Egos ... No Ideas is an incredible CD. If you want concert quality excitement from a cd then this is a must. Their high energy, hot beats and catchy phrases is evident throughout this whole cd. You won't be disappointed with Frickin' A!!
