Book Description

Book #1 in the best-selling Three Girls series!

Ginny McKensie's life is spiraling out of control.

Finished with college, she should have been planning her wedding. After all, Ginny and Josh were made for each other—everyone said so. Except the love of her life didn't agree.

Now Ginny is back in her hometown, unwillingly single, and stuck in a dead-end job. When she discovers she's pregnant, Ginny is convinced her life is ending. Instead of planning a future with Josh, she's learning the truth about morning sickness, juggling bills, and seeing just how far designer jeans can stretch.

Her life-plan never included dating again (not even with her too-hot new boss), or being a single mother at 23. Now, with the help of her best friends, Annie and Jen, Ginny must try to re-imagine—and rebuild—a life she never wanted.

Don't miss the sequel, Three Girls and a Wedding!

4.0 out of 5 stars A fun read November 19, 2011
Format:Paperback
This was an entertaining read and the characters felt pretty true to life, especially the way that Ginny deals with her life and the reasons that she and her boyfriend break up. The relationship of Ginny and her friends was a nice one and it was rewarding to see Ginny get her life together. My only complaint was the amount of cursing.

3.0 out of 5 stars A baby cures everything! January 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Well, not really. Maybe a baby falls under the "that which doesn't kill us..." cliche. In this case, the arrival of an unplanned baby forces our heroine to stop defining herself by her boyfriend and find her own self.

Take one very immature 22 year old, add 2 lifelong best buds/roommates, subtract one ex boyfriend and mix it all with an unplanned pregnancy and you've got this book. That all bring said, this book does deal with the pregnancy angle in a pretty realistic way---the denial, the tears, the total holy sh** fears. But of course Ginnie has her 2 best buds to help carry her in a bit less realistic manner---its fun at first, kids, but what happens when we all want to get on with our lives?

A couple of interesting twists made this pretty enjoyable. It was not a "can't put it down" novel, but it made for a fun diversion.

2.0 out of 5 stars Main character is off-putting February 28, 2012
By Jane
Format:Kindle Edition
Normally, I wouldn't complain about a free book because free is like a gift.

But, I couldn't even finish this novel. What could have been a cute, fun read was sunk by the main character's insistent whining. I understand she was in a rough place, but dear Pete, halfway through and she's still going on and on. I felt like there was little character development and what there was wasn't pretty. It was hard to sympathize with her because while her situation wasn't ideal, it certainly wasn't nearly as bad as it could have been as her roommates offered to help support the baby.
