Colorful Version of a Classic Rhyme, March 25, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Three Little Kittens (Hardcover)
In this version of the_Three Little Kittens_, the kittens are pink, blue, and orange, and they have a purple mom. The text is the traditional rhyme in which the three little kittens have lost their mittens, find their mittens, and then may have some pie. For fun variety, the book's text deviates from the classic rhyme at the end when, just for a moment, the mother cat loses the pie! Children who are just learning this rhyme or children who are familiar with it already will enjoy the colorful illustrations. Teachers and librarians may enjoy using this book for storytimes, as the illustrations carry well for a group.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves this book!, May 12, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Three Little Kittens (Hardcover)
We have taken this book out of the library on three occasions. My daughter has memorized this book and will often spontaneously tell the story to anyone who will listen! From this book she has learned the concept of "print" and will "read" as she points to each word on a page. The illustrations are wonderful & she finds something new each time.
