My Grandmother bought this for my daughter over a year ago. I thought she was crazy for paying the high price for this. However, this is still a story time favorite. My daughter loves to watch me and help me act out the story as I/we read the book and the pigs are regularly bedtime necessities. The house doubles (for my daughter) as a purse and a house for her other little figurines. The entire set is washable and very durable. I highly recommend this toy to anyone who loves a chance to play along with story time.

Based on the recommendations on Amazon.com, I bought this playset for my 2 year old niece's birthday. Six months later it is one of her favorite toys. She loves playing with the set and telling the story to her brother and sister. If you are looking for a gift that will encourage creativity, this one gets high marks. My sister-in-law loves it too and wonders how I am so in tune with what kids like. (Let's not tell her that I rely on other people's Amazon.com recommendations.)

My little girl loves this durable toy.I love the convenience of storage-all the pieces fit in the little house-- and especially the fact that if anything is lost you can call a 1800 number and they will replace any piece.Worth the high piece.

I was apprehensive at first by the considerable price, but this toy is a hit. For one, it doesn't make any noise. There are no buttons to push. It requires...imagination! Every day we have to tell the stories of the piggies, and we "Huff and Puff." My 21 month old daughter plays with it by herself with the wolf chasing the pigs to the next house. Pockets of Learning will replace any lost piece! It's hard to tell the story of the 3 little pigs with only 2 pigs!

I bought this based on the reviews. It has been popular in my house. It does seem to wash up well but still it isn't worth $40. I saw a similar Little People Soft Set Farm for $13 at Costco.

This is a great idea for a toy that promotes creativity, reading, and independent play. My two year old loves this toy and loves to "play" the big bad wolf. This toy is great for travel as well. With that said, the quality of the brick house is a problem. It has not held up well to normal wear and tear. The velcro has fallen off, and so have both little yellow handles. The material seems rather cheap, and poorly secured. All the other pieces are fine. Finally, please keep in mind this is a creative toy that is meant for children, not babies who are still putting everything into thier mouths.

I bought this for my twin girls (4 at the time) last year for Christmas (a little worried that it was more of a "baby - aged" toy) and I have to say that is one gift from last year that is still a favorite. They way everything sets up is just adorable & my girls absolutely love it. It may be a bit over-priced compared to other toys like it, but I would pay it again in a heartbeat.

I really do love this toy, but I was disappointed because the velcro came off of one side within about a month of my son getting this. My daughter loves it just as much as my one year old son and she's four. they have great fun playing with it. I am going to have to sew the velcro back on so the peices don't get lost.
