5.0 out of 5 stars A charmingly hilarious parody
"The Three Little Pigs Buy The White House" is a tale of how the Bush team came to power and what they've done since written in the style of a children's book. The depictions of Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld, down to them telling Bush how to behave whenever there is a problem, is frighteningly accurate. The depiction of Osama as a Big Bad Wolf with his Winds of Mass...

1.0 out of 5 stars SICKENING!
This thing looks like it was ghost-written by any of a number of leftist losers -- Al Franken, Michael Moore, take your pick -- whose asinine beliefs were dumped by the roadside where they belonged when the Bush administration finally took the White House away from the nightmarish fiasco of the Clintons. I like the Bizarro comic well enough, but if these are Piraro's true...

The depiction of Osama as a Big Bad Wolf with his Winds of Mass Destruction is unnerving. It's the news of the past three years that you didn't get on TV condensed into a brief allegory.

Piraro has hit a great peak with this book. Obviously he's twisted the "Three Little Pigs" tale into a modern allegory for the Bush II administration. But he's hit on something wickedly satirical. And damned if satire isn't what's missing from much of the American Left right now. Anyway, Piraro's caricatures, most notably of Condoleeza Rice, are hilarious. And his WMD ("Winds of Mass Destruction") will leave you belly laughing after you've closed the book. Good job, Dan.

This book is great. It definitely sums up the situation and does so in a respectable manner. A friend brought a copy to work to share and I immediately had to buy one to share with my friends and family. I highly recommend getting a copy.

This is a case of preacher and choir in that I love anything that portrays our moron-in-chief as the idiot he is. This is a little more sinister than the usual bush-panning, but that makes it all the more credible. Too sad, too true!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious, April 16, 2004

My kids found this on the bookshelves at a book store and begged me to buy it for them - they thought it was hilarious. We all have read it over and over and its simple truth is appropriate for all ages. I recommend it for children and adults. My kids are 11,10 and 5 and they all read it, and when my parents saw my copy they bought one for themselves.

5.0 out of 5 stars sums up everything, September 5, 2004

I'm saving this one for my grandchildren when they bring home questions from American history class--they should know the truth, not the sanitized version doled out in school.

This book is a satire of the Bush administration using the framework of the story "The Three Little Pigs." The book parodies Dubya's lack of knowledge about ANYTHING, Cheney's affinity for making money by screwing the little guy, Rummy's bloodlust, and more. I recieved a copy as a gift and plan on purchasing it for a few friends. ;-)

I Love It! This books should be required reading for everyone. The PERFECT history of GWB. Perhaps the "compassionate conservatives" should take this on their next month long vacations. Maybe they'll learn something while living off of everyone elses money in their brick houses!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, IF you are a liberal, March 24, 2004

I thought it was a great book-- funny, well written and a great way to begin discussing current events with my two seven year olds.

However, I am sure that all reviews will either be five stars (if the reviewer is a liberal) or one star (if the reviewer is a conservative) because it is certainly a politically charged children's book.
