5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent, swashbuckling masterpiece!!! Kamen is great!!!, April 11, 1999
This review is from: The Three Musketeers: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
For any fan of this delightful film or the wonderful Micheal Kamen , this should appeal to all your senses . I am big fan of film scores , have been since I was born and When this movie came out , I had to have the soundtrack , if for nothing else than the ballad " All For Love " , by Sting , Bryan Adams , And Rod Stewart . Sure , they were going for the same kind of goal that "Everything I Do", achieved , and while it can't compre to that lovely song , it has just the thing an unabashed romantic could ask for . Yet, even if the song does not float your boat , than the score itself should please anyone in search of a distinctive , swashbuckling sound . Kamen gives the score , nearly every song , it's own individuality , the perfect backdrop to the moment in the film , or just on it's own , it's terrific ! Bottom line : If you liked the movie , you'll love the soundtrack ; If you didn't , you'll still love it . Kamen At His Best!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Art of Wenching, June 5, 2006
This review is from: The Three Musketeers: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
A word of caution this album has one actual "song" which is the amazing ballad featuring Sting, Rod Stewart and Bryon Adams. Though the other tracks are songs they are instrumentals that are actually in the movie. Though don't let that turn you aside as they are all well done and each offer a wide variety of different musical emotions. Many of the tracks start off slow and quiet and then eventually become adventurious or more epic. 'M' Lady DeWinter' and 'All For One' being my personal favourite tracks. This is worth a listen especially seeing how I got it for $4.50 new still in original wrapping.

5.0 out of 5 stars All for One and One for Music, June 28, 2000
This review is from: The Three Musketeers: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
This soundtrack is my favorite! I love the movie and this soundtrack goes hand in hand with it. It has a great blend of romantic, action, and even more action packed music all character to the late 1600's! Well, of course with the exception of "All for Love", which is a great pop song that illustrates the theme of the Musketeers and sounds great with the three great voices!

The soundtrack to "The Three Musketeers" features a fine oechestral score by Michael Kamen, as well as a great collaboration by Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart and Sting on the epic ballad "All For Love." Definitely worth buying! Grade: A-

5.0 out of 5 stars All For One, One For All...And All For Love., September 28, 2010
This review is from: The Three Musketeers: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (Audio CD)
I just heard this soundtrack to the Disney version of Dumas' classic novel, and it is every bit as good as the movie itself. Of course, everyone enjoys the song "All For Love" performed by Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart & Sting, but there's so much more to it than that, as always. You can always expect the best from Walt Disney Pictures and their collaborators on film, music and video. All For One, One For All And All For Love.

I love Brian Adams and Rod Stewart. I don't like Sting though. The song "All For Love" is one of the greatest I've ever heard. Even though I love heavy metal I have a soft side. Everyone does. Oh and just for fun I'd like to say: WATCH "XENA WARRIOR PRINCESS" AND THE CARTOON "GARGOYLES" THEY RULE!!!! AND

4.0 out of 5 stars Defending Sting!!, March 19, 2002

I suppose Bryan Addams was pretty famous when this was released, but I can't believe that he gets the credit for this amazing collaboration. I think this is one of the best pop songs of the 90's and I think that Sting's contributuion makes it what it is. His strong, pure tone is so intrinsic in this ballad. I love him!!
