5.0 out of 5 stars Life, death, and facing an uncertain future head-on June 12, 2004
Format:Paperback
Three Ships To Moji a fictional war novel that paints a horrifically vivid picture of the Japanese relocation of American prisoners of war from the Philippines to Japan. Perils of starvation, disease, and even the risk of death from countrymen fighting and torpedoing the Japanese navy were par for the course. An innocent young serviceman is put to the terrible test and learns what true bravery is, and even comes to discuss tenets of religion and philosophy to pass the time as they travel further north, the weather grows cold, and the dark specter of mortality looms above captor and captive alike. A suspenseful tale of life, death, and facing an uncertain future head-on.
