History and Adventure,
This review is from: Three Swords for Granada (Hardcover)
I'm a homeschooler and we were studying medieval history and Spain in particular at the time we read this. My son, 8yo and an avid reader, really enjoyed this book. I did too. Though the main characters are cats, dogs and rats, the book was written with drama and seriousness. However, it didn't get too dark. My son is sensitive to violence and scary themes, but he could handle it. Great book.
