Three's a charm,
By Rogue Reviewer (Cleveland, OHIO) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Three-Way: Erotic Stories (Paperback)
Editor Alison Tyler has collected a broad assortment of sexy stories about multiple players in Three-Way. The pieces definitely feature above average erotic writing, with talented authors including Marilyn Jaye Lewis (who wrote a very dirty story called "Three for the Money"), Saskia Walker (who I love from Black Lace anthologies), Thomas Roche, N. T. Morley and Dante Davidson. There are all sorts of groupings in this collection, not solely threesomes or menages. Tom Piccirilli's is the oddest, I think, with the grouping of a man, a woman, and the womaan's tattoo. A great unusual collection~

This short story book is HOT. I've never been in the threesome situation but it got me thinking...

Writing is fine, but ultimately boring,
By Mark Twain (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Three-Way: Erotic Stories (Paperback)
It's well written but I got bored quickly. It may be the authors, or it may be because many of the stories are extremely short. There's no room to develop the story so all the characters end up seeming similar. I tried rereading a couple stories, thinking maybe I just wasn't in the mood the first time. But they weren't memorable the second time either. When stories about menage a trois (or more) aren't memorable, something's wrong.

A disappointment,

I thought this would be hot and interesting, but the writing is somehow very ordinary and a disappointment. It's not a good sign when you have to force yourself to focus and finish a story about a threesome! It's all just sort of generic -- here's three people, they get it on, here's three more, they get it on, etc, and none of the characters very interesting, or even sexy.
