What a complete rip-off!!! Is this a joke?, July 25, 2003
This review is from: My Three Years Working for Michael Jackson Dec 1990-Dec 1993 (Paperback)
Although the author of this book claims he used to work for Michael Jackson as a security officer at Neverland Ranch, it seems like the book was actually written by one of Jackson's monkeys.
The grammar and spelling is absolutely horrible. I recommend keeping a red pen handy while you are reading along. Have fun as you pretend to be an English teacher grading a 5th grader's homework assignment.
This book is roughly 90 pages in length. It should have been 45 or less, but the print is so large (imagine Times New Roman size 16 font) and it is double spaced between the lines. It will take you less than an hour to read. Just think of all the important things you could have done in that hour.
The author appears to have a chip on his shoulder. He claims Michael never thanked him enough for all of his hard work. The author was in the hospital one time and no one from Neverland called or visited. Michael didn't give him a baked turkey one year for Christmas (as he says Jackson normally would as a Christmas gift). And, in a sizzling revelation, Jackson sits too close to his young friends on the amusement park rides and on the golf cart!!!
If this measly garbage is all he could come up with after working with Jackson at Neverland for 3 years, Michael Jackson must not be as "wacko" as the press would have us believe.

Save Your Money -- Very Skimpy, July 10, 2003
This review is from: My Three Years Working for Michael Jackson Dec 1990-Dec 1993 (Paperback)
This "book" is a waste of money. I put the word "book" in quotes because in fact this little tract is less than 10,000 words. That's only about one-tenth the length of an average book. Furthermore, the "author" (also in quotes) has terrible spelling and grammar. Although it appears that Wegner did work for Michael Jackson, it seems Wegner barely met him. Wegner has hardly any information about Jackson. He "reveals" that boys would sometimes sleep in Jackson's room (which Jackson himself has said many times) and that Jackson would sometimes hug boys or sit close to them on a golf cart, both of which Jackson himself has shown in his recent "Home Movies" special. I'm sorry I wasted my money on this!

ZERO STAR RATING SHOULD BE IMPLEMENTED FOR BOOKS THIS BAD., December 9, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: My Three Years Working for Michael Jackson Dec 1990-Dec 1993 (Paperback)
This is NOT a book by any definition. It's 90 pages are printed in huge type with triple spacing! Then there is also a significant amount of blank paper at the end of each and every chapter. So it must boil down to about twenty or so pages of a "normal" book. Just an issue or two of the "Enquirer" will give you more than you will find in this self-published "work." Save your money and run from this one!
