About the Author

Kurt Abraham has systematically studied the Theosophical, Blavatsky, and Alice Bailey writings since 1966 with a special emphasis on the 7 rays. He holds an MA degree from the Univ. of Wisc-Milwaukee. He has also studied Rudolf Steiner's Waldorf Education at the teacher training center in Detroit. Abraham has authored 7 books on the seven rays and esoteric psychology. He founded the School for the Study of the Seven Rays, which offers a home study course.

More About the Author

Kurt Abraham was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with an MA degree. He studied also at the Waldorf Teacher Training Institute in Detroit, a system of education based on the teachings of Rudolf Steiner. He spent four years in Europe, mainly Germany, where he was first introduced to the esoteric sciences through the works of P. D. Ouspensky. He was a student in Alice Bailey's Arcane School for many years. He has studied the Bailey material for over forty years and has written ten books on the subject. He founded the SCHOOL FOR THE STUDY OF THE SEVEN RAYS in the 1990's, which became a non-profit tax-exempt educational corporation in 2005. The School offers a HOME STUDY COURSE, a NEWSLETTER, and BOOKS on the Seven Rays and Esoteric Psychology. His own studies have focused on the works of Bailey, the Theosophical writers including Blavatsky Leadbeater and Besant,the works of Rudolf Steiner, the Agni Yoga series of books of Master M., and the works of Ouspensky and Gurdjief.
Kurt taught elementary school, worked as a youth group worker, child therapist, and psychiatric rehabilitative counselor for many years. He presently resides in southern Oregon outside of Medford.
