I purchased this book last week and I haven't been able to put it down. In this book, Prophetess Bynum really guides you into an intimate prayer life with God. If you've been hesitant about your prayer life, or unsure if your prayers reach God, then this is the book for you. Her valuable insight from both her personal experiences and her revelations from God, will lead you to where you need to be...an unhindered line of communication with God. More specifically, she will show you how to get your prayers through to the Lord. This is an awesome woman of God and she has a powerful anointing of prayer placed upon her. She has a powerful, powerful gift of intercession. I highly recommend this book to those seeking to enhance or deepen their prayer life.

This book's theme is that there are levels of intercession and a person can grow into greater intimacy with God. Jesus is interceding on our behalf continually and calls us to prayer for others. She applies Old Testament symbolism to New Testament principles.

Another recurring theme is submitting to God's will and offering oneself as a living sacrifice. She notes, "God requires us to lay ourselves on the brazen altar every day and say, 'Whatever doesn't please You, Lord, burn it up. Consume my will, desires, emotions--anything that doesn't line up with Your will.'"

She goes on to describe how God will burn out of an individual the things that are displeasing to Him. This book describes how a pray-er can "rise above natural circumstances and tap into the supernatural realm." She offers encouragement and true spiritual growth.

Did not talk about the threshing floor till last chapter. Then it just did a highlight and said you have to purchase next book for more detail on the subject.

This book blessed me and my prayer life. I yearned to learn more about the tabernacle and God's Word. It encouraged me to search the scriptures for myself, I feel I am being processed and walking in obedience. God has been showing favor in my life, as well as my family life, and I truly believe it is because of my obedience with cleansing, prayer and intercessory. Thanks Prophetess Bynum.

Juanita's last book "My Spiritual Inheritance" made me wonder. It made me see her as Pentecostal bondage queen. Although I do think it is important to be in proper alignment with spiritual leadership and submit to them when you know they really and truly love you. I also loved "Matters of The Heart".

This book is awesome. I have not completed it yet, I have skimed it over and read the first two chapters and I am highly impressed. Once again, I may not always agree with her theology but it's so important that we know that we are praying according to the will of God and according to His word and that we reverence Him as we press toward the Holy of Holies and enter into His presence behind the veil. Although I really don't think it's that complex to meet God face to face and have results, I think it's harder to maintain that level in prayer on a consistant basis. Like the Prophetess says, we have to follow God's pattern in prayer and once we recognize the pattern it becomes easier to maintain that level in prayer on a regular basis without it becoming a burdensome press. I thank God for this book and I thank God for Sister Bynum-Weeks. I pray that God would keep her balanced in Holy Ghost and that she doesn't think that everything must be hard in order for it to be Holy because that is the trap of legalism. I sense much more freedom in her spirit in this book and I sense that she has gone to another level in God since that last two books.

This is an awesome book about prayer. Parts of it can be a little wordy at times, and if you've heard Juanita Bynum preach recently then some of the stuff in the book isn't new to you. But it' definately a book that will point you in the right direction concerning prayer.

almost all the reviews i have read on this book are absolute nonsense.you have to be in the spirit to read this book,it is not for babies but for mature people of God.if this book does not change your life then you know you are dead and woe unto those that have the audacity to call this great woman of God a false prophet,touch not his anointed and do his prophet no harm!you dont have the holy spirit for real and your dead spiritual.ANYWAY,MY GOD MY GOD MY GOD,THIS IS THE MOST POWERFUL BOOK THAT PROPHETESS BYNUM HAS EVER WRITTEN.IT IS SO AWESOME, SO FULL OF REVELATION AND POWER AND I HAD TO READ IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND AWESOME PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS ON ME AND AFTER I FINALLY FINISHED IT,GOD BIRTHED ME OUT AS AN EFFECTUAL BEHIND THE VEIL INTERCESSOR AND I CAN'T EXPLAIN TO YOU WHAT HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO MY LIFE BECAUSE OF THIS BOOK.WOH! I am reading "The Threshing Floor" for the second time. When this book first came out, I grabbed it and read it within a week. I didn't have a difficult time understanding what Prophetess Bynum was saying, but I must say that you actually have to be walking in the true realm of PRAYER to first hand know and experience everything that this book has to offer.

My prayer life has changed tremendously. I can now look at the structure of the Tabernacle, the brazen laver, brazen altar, showbread, lampstand, the Ark of the Tabernacle, the outer court, the Most Holy Place and everything mentioned in this book and comprehend the O/T structure and compare it to the N/T. I can also apply these principles in my life. My suggestion is to pray for wisdom when reading anything. God will show you just where your prayer level is at when you read this book, not Prophetess Bynum. I thank God that she is a willing and very open minded woman of God; that regardless of what opinions others have, she speaks, teaches, sings and writes the Word of God. And without a doubt, it shows in her life.

In reading some of the reviews, (and understanding everyone is entitled to their own opinion). I can honestly say, our Father, if you are a child of God, will not hear your prayers, if you think you can approach Him any old way, form or fashion. And it is because of His sovereignty that he will hear the prayer of a sinner.

So if anything in the book actually offended you or you feel you may have taken it out of context, then I've always realized that there's something inside of ME/YOU/US that God is trying to show us.

As a woman studying the three monotheistic faiths, this book made Christianity seem difficult and full of legalism. I thought while she was talking about washing she was going to start comparing it to Islam's process of ablution in which you must wash a certain way before each of your five prayers. I understand that it was symbolism, but the author makes it feel that you a praying in vain if you do not follow her exact steps. I always thought the point of being saved was to be able to come to God in a simple and childlike way. The book should clearly be called "Intercession" so that people who go to read it understand that it is for a different level of prayer apparently not available to most Christians.

For those who proclaim Prophetess Bynum is a false teacher and a false prophet I pray that the Lord will open your spiritual eyes, ears, spirit and soul. This book is inspired by the Blessed Holy Spirit and to those who place God in a box and refuse to allow Him to teach you are missing out on a tremendous blessing. This book will bless your body, spirit and soul. Take God out of the box, have an open mind and allow the Holy Spirit to reveal to you the truths that He has put in this book. There is healing and deliverance in this book, the hinderances to your prayer life will be removed if only you would be willing to receive the truth in this book. Buy this book, be open and sensitive to the Holy Spirit and you will be blessed!
