Another great M.ILL.ION album, March 28, 2010

2008's Thrill of the Chase is (I believe) the sixth full-length release by M.ill.ion. The Swedish band has been serving up quality melodic hard rock albums since the early 1990s, and Thrill of the Chase is no exception.
Thrill of the Chase may be M.ill.ion's best album to date. It strikes just the right balance between melodic accessibility and hard-rocking energy, and rocks just a little more than most of their AOR peers' albums. Actually, M.ill.ion's melodic hard rock style is a perfect fit for a label like Metal Heaven that straddles the line between melodic rock and heavy metal. This is just a good, solid melodic hard rock album all around. It's catchy, rocks hard, and is well-written with a great production job.
If you're already a fan of M.ill.ion, you'll definitely want to check out this album. If you're new to the band but enjoy melodic hard rock along the lines of Pretty Maids, Pink Cream 69 and Charing Cross, you would do well to check out what M.ill.ion has to offer, and Thrill of the Chase is the perfect album to start with.
