The Naughty Nooner free books are definitely not for the weak of heart with sex scenes. In this story, Clara is a soldier taken hostage. But something happens and instead of Kane breaking Clara, he ends up falling for her. This is one of the better short stories of the NN's I have read as the author's writing style was pretty good. I was actually believing the book.

Remember - they are just short stories so don't expect too much. This one is worth the free download.

The Naughty Nooners series are just that, a lunch time read. They are usually really short. With that said, this is a great one. It leaps you straight into the story with the background quickly filled in. This one is definetly a page turner! Clara is a soilder who has been caught by the resistance. Kane is there to break her. The story flows efficiently and the ending does not leave you hanging. If you like the Naughty Nooner series then check this one out. If you are new to the series, then be warned - these are sexually graphic (at least most of them are) and some belong to a separate series of books. This one does not. It's a good one to read!

You'll have to find out when you read this short story. What I liked most about this story is the beginning when Clara is a hostage and Kane appears and does everything he does to her. You can actually feel everything!

A great quick read. Loved the way Nathalie Gray tickled the senses. You were there with Clara, in the darkness, feeling Kane's presence around you. Chapter One left me wondering who was really the one surrendering to need.

An overall great read.

This was the first book I've read by Ms. Gray but it won't be the last. Yes, the book is short. All the Ellora's Cave's Naughty Nooners are short. I still enjoyed her characters and setting. I would've loved to have read more about these characters, but understand Ms. Gray had to pack a lot into a few words. I think she did a very good job of that.

This was a Kindle freebie, and for the money, it's not a terrible short. It has a fairly preposterous storyline that would have been better in a longer work. The heroine was a disappointment - she's supposed to be a tough hardcase, but she is immediately seduced by our hero. Our hero, meantimes, is inexplicably interested in our heroine, although they are supposed to be enemies that have never met. Some of the story is intriguing, but as mentioned, is really rushed and compressed. Skip it for "Silent Blade" by Ilona Andrews Silent Blade, a better read for the money, even if it is not free.

I liked the storyline but wished it was alot longer. It could've been written as a book continuing with them being discovered and going on the run. However, for a short story, that was free, I thought it was pretty good.

As stated, it's a naughty nooner so it's short and free. With that in mind it was pretty good. I was never confused and the story was very concise. I was intrigued by the characters which I think is a good thing even if it did leave me wanting more back story. I think this could easily have been made into a full length book and in my opinion that's the sign of a good short story. Overall a nice and steamy, fairly well written, sci-fi-ish short story.

This book was ok, but I did not like it as much as the other reviewers did. I wished it was longer, I understand it was meant to be short but i found it lacking. I also didn't find it believable at all. The whole Kane seducing her into breaking was a little ridiculous. But if you are just looking for a book with hot sex scenes this is fine for you.

It drew me in from the start. I could almost imagine myself being Clara. It didn't take me long to finish it, either. I have limited amounts of time, so I really enjoy the quick reads from Ellora's Cave when I want something sexy and even remotely romantic.
