Still one of the best songs ever. This is a timeless classic that never gets old. A song that stands alone. A song that should be in everyone's music collection.
This song mixes a dance type sound with the halloween type sound that has been beautifully created. When you listen to it you think about what it would have been like to create this sound with the voice of MJ and how it all came together.

I just had to weigh In. This Is undoubtedly one of the greatest songs AND videos of all time.
And I am a Rock fan. The top 10 now would torture me. Yet his song and CD Thriller still sound fresh.
It's a slam 5 stars for sure. If not tell me what your using to measure? He helped set the bar!

Whatever the problem other customers had, it must have been fixed. The song downloaded fine and played all the way through. Still an excellent song!
The title track from Thriller was the seven and final single from the album. Released in November of 1983, the song and its groundbreaking video helped give the album one final sales push to keep it in the top ten well over a year after its release. While the song has become a staple around Halloween and probably gets more current airplay than other songs from the album, it is one of the album's weaker tracks. The song is studded with sound effects like creaking doors, thunder, howling dogs and features a "rap" by horror film legend Vincent Price.
