Pauline is almost fourteen, and on the last day of school, she wins an award for the short story she wrote. The prize includes a book called "You Too Can Write a Novel!" So, that's what Pauline does- she writes down everything going on in her life, from friends to family to past memories and so much more.

This book had me interested from page one. It is such a funny book, and Pauline is a well-written, engaging character and is such a joy to read about. The way Ravel writes really pulls the reader along in the story and keeps the pages turning, holding you until the end. I finished this book in one evening because I could not stand to put it down for even a second. Luckily, there's two more books in the series, and I can't wait to read both of them!
