Off the Rails lives up to its name with 20 death-defying rides so outrageous, they inspire the same word from every park visitor who sees them: "WHOA!" Players build these incredible "WHOA Coasters" to leap from one track to another, launch through the air like cannonballs, blast through burning rings of fire, and more.
A new lighthearted story ties together more than 100 missions, complete with 34 playable multiplayer theme-park games and social interaction with park guests that's better than ever. The in-depth conversations both advance the plot and suggest better ways to manage the park. But is every guest to be trusted?

I normally don't write reviews, but for this game I have to. It is GREAT!!!!! Possibly one of the best DS games ever!!!!! You build up a theme park and have missions to complete at the same time. There are tons of mini games, people to talk to, and awesome theme parks to build. Buy this game and you will definately not be disappointed.

My seven year old son has enjoyed this the most out of the set of games we purchased with our nintendo ds lite two weeks ago. The price of this game was US $24. He has played for several hours in total with increasing interest, without becoming obsessive (he plays around 30 minutes each time). I've also tried it for an hour.
Its family friendly, tbat is, non-violent. It provides a sense of progress and achievement in building the fun park and accumulating the score. Its not frustrating or annoying at any point. There is no manual dexterity required beyond drawing shapes, and no repetitive or speed dependent actions required. There is no time pressure or negative warnings that appear in this game. Its important to remember to save your progress, since at no stage is there any automated save function. You would lose entirely everything if you didn't save. Of course it was me who did this, not the seven year old! Our three year old son also enjoys this, and has fun playing the mini-games, particularly the ice-hockey and basketball. Its nice for him to play, but we don't encourage him to do so.

LOVE IT!!! totally buy it. I am a fan of all the RCT games and this game from Lucas arts is so cool. You can play all the arcade games in the park. The graphics and sound are great, too. MYSIMS is awful! But this instead- hours of fun.
