Book Description

The apostle Paul prayed for the Church to have a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the full knowledge of the Father. This full knowledge had to do with the hope of our calling, the riches of the Father's inheritance in us His people, and the exceeding greatness of His power that works in us as believers. He informs us that we have been made alive, raised up and enthroned with Christ and share His authority. These truths are the possession of every born again believer, but many are not aware of these things. This book has been written to help remedy that lack of knowledge.

5.0 out of 5 stars Throne Life, by Joe McIntyre July 19, 2012
I've known Joe McIntyre for more than 40 years. And I must say, his personal life demonstration of the gospel has been as excellent as his books. I know the expression is "what you see is what you get;" but with Joe, "What you read is what you get" is true. He is a living example of the messages he writes. Throne Life is the best explantion of the life we are to live, with and in Christ's authority I have ever read. Well written, straightforward, easy to read and understand. I planned on reading it in one sitting; but it's been weeks now because it is so rich, I've had to stop after every couple pages and meditate on what is there; it is rich beyond description. If you only have one book to read this week/month/year, make it Throne Life.

5.0 out of 5 stars Abundant Life Starts Now! October 31, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Summarize the content of the book in your own words:
Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father on His throne, and invites us to share in that glory as both an inheritance as well as a privilege. The fullness of the blessing of God is already our as believers, it just waits upon our comprehension and belief. I come off as victorious constantly because I am born of God. By renewing my mind and growing my faith, I can `walk out' an overcoming life.

Although Christ's death was for my sins, His resurrection was for my justification. It is common to overemphasize His death, and while He did do this for our sins, our focus should be on Him being raised. His Finished Work was when He entered the Most Holy Place, and presented His own blood, having won and obtained our eternal redemption, and sealing the New Covenant. Our transformation is not the result of His death, but comes as a result of the glory of His resurrection being our focus, as it is with Him in His enthroning that we have our identity.

I am God's representative whom He has covered with His power and presence. I am to enforce and extend both His reign and His name; bringing everything to its rightful place- under the headship of Christ, which is the purpose of the Father. Jesus is waiting for the His Body, the church, to use the authority that He has bestowed unto them to make His enemies into His footstool. Although we may not see this as something that has been completely manifested yet, by each of us walking in the Holy Spirit, we can see this change spread throughout our world.

Complacency is not normal in healthy Christians, but hunger is, and this desire should be fully present regardless of their level of maturity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Throne Life, the secret to a dominating faith October 15, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Throne Life is a book about elevating our understanding of our identity to its intended height, that being us enthroned alongside Christ and sharing in His authority, dominion and anointing, resting upon high with the Father over all the powers of darkness. The book tells us this is our inheritance, our privilege freely given to us, and we just have to complete our understanding of it; it is our destiny and we need only to possess it through the Holy Spirit. Throne Life has significantly matured my understanding of who I am and where I am seated with Christ. It has given me the revelation and "heart" knowledge that I needed to take hold of the Realities that have always been mine. Joe's words "But they must be possessed" deeply saturated my heart and my spirit in a way that I've never experienced and I felt the Holy Spirit drawing me further into this understanding throughout my reading of the book. The activation prayers at the end of each chapter strongly ignited something inside of me from the moment I began to speak them out loud. My authority is fully mine and cannot be taken, and I am indeed enthroned with Christ in the higher realm, far above all other spiritual things. Another incredible realization this brought me was that our warfare comes from our position above the powers and principalities. Thank you Joe McIntyre for making the transition into throne life such an easy one to accomplish. I am so incredibly thankful that the Holy Spirit has penetrated these words past the shallow understanding I had in my mind to a real, empowering truth within my spirit. This book is not just about finding who we are and taking our keys to the kingdom back but realizing where we have been seated all along, that His glory is our glory, and we do not just "have access to" the power and the high place beside Christ, but we live from that place of power in the high places as we are enthroned with Christ.

Joe McIntyre's book, Throne Life: Sharing Christ's Throne, has been a tremendous blessing. As noted in the tag line for this review, I am convinced without this revelation the church will not release the level of love, power, and authority required to release the Kingdom on the earth. Now don't get me wrong, the earth will indeed be full of the knowledge of His Glory (Hab 2:14), but we need the revelation of moving from Heaven to earth to see it accomplished. Joe has provided a guide to renew our thinking along these lines.

As stated by at least one other reviewer, Joe includes a number of great quotes from Kingdom thinkers at the end of each chapter to stir our love and faith - faith works through love (Gal 5:6). One such quote is from John A. MacMillan:

[The right hand of the throne of God is the center of power of the whole universe, and the exercising of the power of the throne was committed unto the ascended Lord. He is still there awaiting the Father's time when His enemies shall be made a footstool for His feet. The elevation of His people with Him to the heavenlies has no other meaning than that they are made sharers, potentially for the present, of the authority which is His. They are made to sit with Him; that is, they share His throne. To share a throne means without question to partake of the authority which it represents. Indeed, they have been thus elevated, in the plan of God, for this very purpose, that they may even now exercise, to the extent of their spiritual apprehension, authority over the powers of the air, and over the conditions which those powers have brought about on the earth and are still creating through their ceaseless manipulations of the minds and circumstances of mankind.]

I appreciated the focus on the `finished' work of Christ.
