Totally great music,

You can't go wrong in getting this CD from Chris Bocast. His etheral music sets the mood. I particularly like how it provides an environment that is condusive to creative thinking, stargazing and all around relaxing. The songs, while all different, dovetail each other - and produces a seamless stream of music, like a good conversation with a trusted friend. If you want something good, something different, something not of this world, you won't go wrong in adding this one to your collection.

This album by Chris Bocast is absolutly one of the best ambient collections to come along in a long time. Chris takes you on a journey through time and sapce all within your own mind. My sugestion is to slide the disc into your player, press play, sit back, close your eyes and hang on. You will go through every mood from excitement(EVA)to relaxation(Heart's Rest. Enjoy!

Ambient Gem,
This review is from: Through the Airlock (Audio CD)
As far as ambient music goes, Chris Bocast is the master. He gorgeously layers ebow and piano songs to create a quirky, beautiful sound. Moog synthesizers are employed with the greatest panache reminiscent of great Fripp stuff. If you like the music of Aphex Twin or Steve Halpern you will love this record.

Transcendent,

This superb album was given to me by a dear friend. Perfect music for hanging out along some remote canyon rim, or next to an alpine lake at dusk. I'm especially enamored with the song "Radiant" which allowed me to have a momentary experience of transcendence while visiting a fossil bed in a remote area of Nevada. I could visualize that enormous primordial creature in its element 150 million years ago. Unbelieveable! If you pop this into your player, be prepared for the unexpected.
