This CD was originally released in 1994 and has become my personal favorite, although I love all of Bill's CD's. I think it's partially due to the depth of some of the songs, including "Sound Of The Rain", "Light Up The Candles", and "Proud Of Our Blindness", which are all favorites. However, every song on this CD is a favorite, from the first song to the last.

"Turn Your Love Around" is another of Bill's grammy winners and it's also one heck of a great song.

"Just To Be Loved" is a song that I absolutely love, but I can't tell you why. For some reason it just reaches out and grabs me.

This CD also features Tom Saviano, Greg Mathieson, Bruce Gaitsch, Tamara Champlin & others.

Buy this CD. You won't be disappointed!

Bill champlin is one of the finest singers,songwriters, guitarist,keyboard players around. He has a wonderful voice, you can listen to him a lot and not tire of his sound, and he is the master of overdub harmonies.
The production on this album is slick and first rate. A whole bunch of different styles of songs on this which should make for an interesting album, but I dont think they fit together as a whole,instead its held together (for me anyway?)by a couple of ace tracks.
'turn your love around'..is fantastic! it kicks in a funky jazzy groove.
'just to be loved by you'..has cool harmonies and a smooth melody.
well worth checkin out if you can get this CD,seems to be difficult to obtain.

If you like good blues music this CD is for you. Bill's version of "In The Heat of The Night" sets the bar at a height which all other versions can't reach.

Bill Champlin never made it as a major recording artist due to his work with Chicago and session work. Through It All has songs he already co-wrote for others (including a sexy cover of George Benson's Turn Your Love Around) His latest release NO PLACE TO FALL is a must have.

Excellent! Once I bought this one, I listened to it from start to finish and was totally amazed. I think the main reason I got this one was because of the song "In the Heat of the Night". I remember the TV show from back in the day but had no idea that BC did the theme song! Plus I also dug his own take on "Turn Your Love Around". I loved George Benson's version and was in awe when I found out that Bill did his own version. "Just to be Loved" is another good soul number as well. Take a listen.
