Who Are You??,
By
This review is from: Through The Eyes of God (Paperback)
Through The Eyes of God by Sheila L. Jackson is a riveting guide that teaches you how to love yourself, your children and become a better you. We all have had our fair share of experiences with negative folks, but when we turn around and do the same things we are no better than they are. Stop speaking ill of others and be mindful that God made everyone an individual for a reason. If we were all supposed to be the same we would be, but some unique features or characteristics are in each of us. It is up to us to tap into what our divine meaning is supposed to be.This guide is an easy read and you do not have to read it in any particular order. There is an answer in Through The Eyes of God for everyone. One of my favorite chapters speaks about what kind of influence we have over our children, and because we were hurt as kids we repress those emotions until we have our own children and then we end up repeating the cycle. Mrs. Jackson lets you know it is time to stop the cycle, start fresh and new. Where as adults we can mask our hurt and anger through laughter and putting on a façade our children show it differently by acting out, turning to drugs or committing suicide. Compassionate, down-to-earth, heartfelt; these are just a few words that came to mind when reading Through The Eyes of God. This book is powerful and power-packed to only be 155 pages; the meaning is so deep and healing. I recommend Through the Eyes of God to readers of all genres, especially those that are looking for internal healing. I cannot wait to read the next book from Ms. Jackson--The Enemy Within. Great job Mrs. Jackson. This book was sent to me for review courtesy of the author. Reviewed by: Cheryl Hayes APOOO BookClub

Look within and be enlightened!,

What an excellent read! In life there are many tirials and tribulated angst that we go through sometimes without proper protection to aid and abet our transition to triumph. And given the tone and tenor of what we face in times such as this, we may ask ourselves "why, Lord...why me, and how can I get out from under this yoke?" If this appeal to you, then welcome to what can happen to any of us in the real world. Author Shelia L. Jackson has written a seminal book with not only a blue print, but a practical guide to provide as an eye-opener topical issues for healing initiatives. Through The Eyes of God is the name of the book, and the concept is a something that shouldn't be ignored for any self-help approach to deal with depression, peer pressure, familial stress and any other malady that keeps us from redeeming values. I love the book for many reasons, least of which are the things that I've identified that are touched on that speaks directly to me!There are many informative chapters that speaks about benefits that are apropos to generic homilies for good living, but one of my favorites is the chapters on `Confessions of the Soul' and `Conquering Your Fears'. In both of them, the author is erudite in providing applications and providing analogies to rise above medicority and finding the necessary sprititual thrust to make a difference to become whole. Other topics deal with `The Struggles Within', `Exceeding the Expectations of Others', `Damages of the Tongue', and `'Finding the Courage to Stnd'. No doubt, this is a well-researched model written in a style where it can easily be applied and followed for tangible results and doesn't have to be read verbatim. There's something for everyone! Internal healing is important, but when you write from an esthetic that's fomented by biblical scripture it validates directions that God said that we must adhere to. By encouraging readers to explore and exploit better behavior patterns it's easy to embrace the provocative powers of redemption through the eyes of a forgiving God. I recommend this book wholeheartedly, and laud the author for being so intrusive in bringing to fore subjects that are insightful and enlightening. Thank you Ms Jackson for this essential book as we await your next gem!

Learn To Love Yourself As You Are,

This review is from: Through The Eyes of God (Paperback)
Thick lips...small breast...skinny legs...bony chest...regardless of the particular feature, we are often discontent with the ways that we look - not to mention how much money we have or some of the other superficial circumstances of our lives. Add to all this the burdensome weight of ever-increasing societal pressure to look or act certain ways, and it's not difficult to understand why levels of depression and discontent remain consistently high.Which is exactly why Through The Eyes Of God could not come along at a better time. Skillfully penned by author Sheila Jackson, Through The Eyes Of God is an informative, insightful guide to learning how to love yourself - regardless of how you look, how much money you make, or how famous you may or may not be. Backed by applicable biblical scripture, Jackson makes cogent points about the importance of conquering long-held fears, overcoming prejudice, and training yourself to look at your life through spiritual eyes - thereby freeing yourself from the deceptive trappings of the flesh. Jackson also lends special attention to the significance of generational curses, expounding on the destructive potential that they wield over the lives of the innocent masses. By inviting readers to explore the root causes of their behavior - which is often seeded in the years that precede their arrival - Jackson provides them with the essential tools to embrace the healing power of forgiveness. Undeniably powerful, Through The Eyes Of God is an inspiring reminder to celebrate the essence of who you truly are. A tremendously uplifting read. Dominique Sessons Apex Reviews

This review is from: Through The Eyes of God (Paperback)
"Through the Eyes of God: I'm Fearfully & Wonderfully Made" is a 170-page compendium of compassionately informed and informative commentary enhanced with real-world examples of dealing with the all-to-common problems of self-deprecation and self-esteem deficiency that are the underlying causative factors that, unchecked, lead to identity crises. This is a problem that spans all economic strata, classes, and both genders. The resolution so nicely articulated by Sheila Jackson is thoroughly 'user friendly' and accessible, making "Through the Eyes of God" ideal for the non-specialist general reader seeking a self-help approach in dealing with their depression, peer pressure, and family stress.
