Between the spectrum of light and the spectrum of sound there are about 40 octaves. I made use of the similarity between light and sound when creating this musical scale. This scale of notes harmonizes perfectly with the sequence of the primary and secondary Chakra colours: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Violet. The notes are G, A, B-Flat, B, D and E. This differs from an ordinary major or minor scale and are the only notes used in this music. With the key-notes being different in each Chakra piece, each song plays its own special tune. Each mode of the scale fits like a glove to the very Chakra that it expresses! The Third Eye has been known to reflect all colours of the rainbow and the heart of the consciousness belongs to the Third Eye. I created the Third Eye song to reflect the whole spectrum of colours. The music for the Third Eye is a bit different because I change key-notes between all six (thereby reflecting all the keynotes). In the same manner the pituitary gland controls all the other endocrine glands, the consciousness of the Third Eye is reflected in all the other Chakras. ---- Morten A. Joramo

Color has vibrations? Yeah, whatever... That's what I first thought years ago before educating myself on the benefits of colour therapy. Then, after countless hours upon hours of researching the benefits of colour energy to the mind, body and spirit, I found this wonderful cd. A symphony of percussion instruments lead you into an enchanting journey through each of the seven chakras as the healing begins. I listened to this cd while bathing in Colour Energy Colour Bath (colour chosen to suit a particular mood or to aid in healing a particular physical ailment), lit a coordinating colour candle and was blessed with an instant attitude adjustment...and physical healing soon followed! A must have for anyone interested in balancing and tuning your chakras.
