This album by Dogwood is without a doubt one of the most convicting punk albums ever produced. Not only is it a vocal, musical and lyrical masterpiece, but these songs throw your life into a whole different perspective. I have never listend to an album that has caught my attention and captivated my mind, from the moment I pushed play, like this one did. By the end of the first song I was hooked, by the end of the cd I was balling my eyes out. I couldn't recomend an album more strongly than I do this one. If you have any intrest in punk music with a message, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed with this album. the vocal harmonies and awesome melodic punk riffs will capture your ears while the lyrical genius of Josh Kemble will capture your mind. The sad thing is that this album is out of print so it is extremely hard to find. It has been talked about that with in the next year, and hopefully it's true, Dogwood will re-release Through Thick and Thin. So if you come accross a copy of this album don't heasitate to purchase it.

this album is great. simply one of their best. When I first heard this album 4 years ago i was blown away. it took me till now to track down a copy. the opening track,"all hands on deck", has a chorus that will stick in your head for ages. Also this album has that amazing song my preschool days which has been re-released on "this is not a new album". But there are so many amazing tracks by this unique group. as always the lyrical content is uplifting and encouraging. if you can find it snatch this one right up.

For the past two years I have listened to nothing but dogwood (yeah I know, call me crazy). Since I first took a listen to the awesome punk sounds of Building A Better Me, I have been hooked. So as you can imagine, I like this band *a lot* :). But I have to say out of all the great cd's dogwood has put out over the years, this one has to be my absolute favorite. Josh Kemble is known for his amazing lyrics, but this is truly his masterpiece. With songs like All Hands On Deck, Preschool Days, and Tribute, this cd, in my opinion, is the greatest cd of all time. I would take this cd over any other cd in the world, if there is truly a cd that every person in the world should own, this is it. So be sure that if you ever get the chance to buy this cd, do so, I assure you that you will not regret it.

Dogwood is a truly orginal band in a market of conformers and copy-cats. Their drummer rolls out crazy fast and controled filled, not to mention fresh beats. Their singer leads the band with hid tight and tough voice. Their guitar rifs are hard and fast.... a nice treat for any punk rocker. And if you feel like learning something about life, listen to the lyrics.... deep and daring.

Dogwood is one of the tightest bands i've heard. Their music is fast, but has a good variety of styles. Their lyrics are the most thoughtful lyrics ive ever read. they address the issues that most bands are afraid to touch. i definatly recommend this album to anyone and everyone that can appricaite some good punk rock

I have seen Dogwood play at least five times. Their music is great. My favorite one is the one about abortion. I'm pro-life. Dogwood is the best christian punk I have ever listened to.
