Is it Right for Me?
A mystery/ thriller built on the principles of reincarnation and hypnotherapeutic regressions appeal to those of most Eastern philosophies because of their view toward those concepts. If you question or do not believe in the possibility of reincarnation, then simply read the Trilogy as an enjoyable book of science fiction, time-travel, zombies or Harry Potter.
Either way, it is fiction, so please sit back, sip on a cup of tea and enjoy the adventure.
.
Readers Compare Through the Third Eye to:
  • Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code & Angels and Demons
  • The Indiana Jones adventure series
  • The Torah Codes and the Bible Codes
Background on the Third Eye Trilogy:
Nearly six years of research went into Book 1 of Third Eye Trilogy. Much of that was garnering details on the historical characters portrayed through the possibility of reincarnation. The author scoured documented historical details to make interconnections between historical figures across thousands of years. He also conducted extensive research on hypnotic regression techniques used by psychologists, psychiatrists and therapist in their practices. This laid a foundation for the techniques used by Clay and Shali to find their secrets. The author personally visited many of the geographical settings portrayed in the story to ensure a high degree of accuracy for the reader's benefit.

Joanne: Ireland
Through the Third Eye is a fast-paced, action packed but also a very intelligent story. I enjoyed the characters of Clay and Shali. I thought that the book was very well-written and well-researched. I think it would make an excellent movie and I could definitely imagine it on the big screen. I didn't want the book to end.
.
Anjalee: UK
If you enjoyed the pace of 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' and the unfolding mystery in 'The Da Vinci Code', this is one not to miss.
.
Tana, Canada
The book is interesting and a new concept to me. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well thought out suspense/ thriller /mystery novel. If you were a fan of books like the Da Vinci Code this book is right up your alley.
.
Linda: USA
This was a compelling book with an original concept. I was intrigued and captivated from the first page.  I highly recommend this book and if you liked the Da Vinci Code, then you will love Through the Third Eye.
.
Magellan: Queensland, Australia
The research was exemplary and the majority of the characters depicted as though one could consider them intimate friends. This was indeed another 'couldn't put downer' which kept me awake until the wee small hours.
.
Belinda: South Africa
Thoroughly enjoyed the book could not put it down.
.
Mohana: Doha, Qatar
Here's the thing: what if the western world's religious figures were all intertwined? What if the Judea-Christian worldview was the result of a few souls being reincarnated over and over for centuries? That's the premise of this excellently researched story about two new age scientists who interview people trying to find the secrets to unfathomable treasure and knowledge.

About the Author

Raised on an Iowa farm, Lynn Boston (pen name for Bob Frank) spent his summer afternoons in corn fields daydreaming of adventures in faraway lands. At seventeen, while war raged in Southeast Asia, he joined the Army and graduated from West Point as an airborne paratrooper. But his years of duty were simply spent staring down Russian machine guns during the Cold War.
.
He spent his next twenty years as a road warrior for an oil company traveling to every God forsaken corner of the world: Nigerian savannas, Saudi Arabian deserts, Sumatran jungles of Indonesia ... and even Bakersfield, California.
.
Always known for fantastic storytelling, the entire office was kept intrigued and rolling with laughter from his adventures. He finally ended his travels to deliver The Third Eye Trilogy.
.
Lynn lives in Phoenix, Arizona.

5.0 out of 5 stars Controversial, educational and entertaining August 27, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Here's the thing: what if the western world's religious figures were all intertwined? What if the Judea-Christian worldview was the result of a few souls being reincarnated over and over for centuries? That's the premise of this excellently researched story about two new age scientists who interview people trying to find the secrets to unfathomable treasure and knowledge. While the premise for each regression interview (as it's called when a soul is being asked to remember memories of past lives) feels a bit stiff and familiar, the stories that the characters bring to life will keep you swiping pages for the next big discovery.

There's a mixture of genders and religions - some of these readers may find irreverent or shocking - but taken in the spirit of pluralism and universality in which the book is intended, this an ambitious book that leaves you wondering what happens in the next one in the series. I knew much of the Christian and Jewish traditions as explained through prominent souls but learned new things about Islam as well as the ancient Greeks.

Has a feel of the Da Vinci code to it without the Hollywood stunts.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very intriguing story. December 16, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition
The first thing that struck me about Through the Third Eye was the front cover. It's quite startling and compelled me to read the synopsis, from which point I was immediately hooked on the story. I've always been fascinated by the concept of past lives and this book certainly gave me plenty of food for thought. Through the Third Eye is a fast-paced, action packed but also a very intelligent story. I enjoyed the characters of Clay and Shalli. I thought that the book was very well-written and well-researched. I think it would make an excellent movie and I could definitely imagine it on the big screen. I didn't want the book to end, which is always a sign of a good story. I was delighted to know that Through the Third Eye is the first in a trilogy and I can say that I will be first in line to buy the next installment.

5.0 out of 5 stars exciting and engaging read November 25, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
As an avid reader of science fiction, I found this book to be a very exciting and engaging read. The story line is fast paced and the depth of research and historical quality is impressive. I found myself doing internet searches to identify more deeply with the geographical and historical significance of the storyline to see what was fact and what was indeed fiction. Very nice work by this up and coming author. I can't wait for the next offering!

4.0 out of 5 stars WELL WORTH THE READ. February 3, 2013
By Warez
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I found this book very thought provoking concerning the destruction of the Library of Alexandria, as well as it's possible preservation. I would have rated the book higher if it were not for the somewhat overdone in my opinion trials and tribulations of the characters. The taste of the Divinchy Code was a little much for me.at the end. Beyond that it's a testimony of sorts for those that may be intrigued with possible alternative lives in terms of reincarnation. Not having read the entire trilogy that may be an unfair critique. I wold still however recommend it to others.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Read October 15, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Leaving the synopsis of the story to other reviewers who have handled it more than adequately, I only wish to add that this book left me with almost literal hunger pains for the next in the trilogy.
The research was exemplary and the majority of the characters depicted as though one could consider them intimate friends.
This was indeed another 'couldn't put downer' which kept me awake until the wee small hours.

BACKGROUND:

THERAPIST & IANDS
I first had difficulty accurately describing past life regressions from the eyes of both the practitioner and the subject. So I went back to school to became a certified and registered hypnotherapist, specializing in past life regressions. I actively perform past life regressions similar to what Clay and Shali did in the Third Eye Trilogy, but I have not built a full time practice.

From a volunteer standpoint, I am now on the Board of Directors of the 35 year old International Association for Near Death Studies (IANDS). After working with hypnotherapy to access the inner mind, my interests in this area has driven me to work with studies for aiding people who have died and returned from the "other side". Dealing with so many "enlightened" individuals has tremendously opened my eyes to the real world around us; often not the one that we are led to believe.

Pen Name:
Books 1 and 2 were written under the pen name Lynn Boston to shield my interests from a role as Vice President of a Fortune 500 company. I no longer carrying that burden and am now using my real name. I am retroactively changing the author name on the earlier books. It is "out of the closet" for me.

Phoenix, Arizona is home, enjoying three seasons of the year. Believe me, the summers are HOT...
