Hallelujah! The Lord is ever-present!,
By
This review is from: Through the Fire Without Burning (Paperback)
The Duduman's have been a blessing to many, many, many people across decades of time. Dumitru, his wife, and daughter are now with the Lord. This book is not another story about another persecuted Christian. It contains revelation knowledge of God's plans and purposes for the near future. More is revealed on their web site, HandofHelp.
The Lord beautifully and wonderfully worked through this man's persecuted life in ways that I have only read about in this particular book. He saw angels many times. Stories of supernaturally-appointed events are throughout the book. Only those whose name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life will listen to what the Lord has revealed through this man.

God's prophet for this age: Duduman.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Through the Fire Without Burning (Paperback)
Though everyone needs the message of God displayed in the life of Duduman there is a profound and disturbing message here for those of us who say we belong to Christ. God is a Holy God and He cannot be played with under the guise of "living by grace." The message here is that the church must wake up and seek God earnestly while there is still time.

A Modern Prophet: his story reads like something from Acts,
By A Customer
This review is from: Through the Fire Without Burning (Paperback)
I have personally taken Dumitru Duduman and his grandson (to translate) on two separate week-long speaking tours through the Rocky-Mountain West, not only addressing but changing thousands of people. He is one of the most remarkable disciples of Christ I have ever met. His story, which has so deeply impacted so many Christians (including Mormons) is contained in this book: "Through the Fire, Without Burning."He was miraculously responsible for smuggling over 300,000 Bibles into the Soviet Union. The stories he tells are like reading the book of Acts. He has been tortured beyond human comprehension for his activities, and was only able to endure by pleading the blood of Jesus. The last half of his book describes what happened after he was exiled from his homeland, ending up in America, where an angel of God showed him the destructions that are going to come upon America in an instant suddenly, at a time we least expecte it, including from nuclear missiles. My studies of the scriptures confirm his prophesy. Dumitru Duduman has since departed this life, but his ministry (Hand of Help) continues, both in proclaiming repentance and in humanitarian efforts for the poor of Romania. The orphanage he built through donated funds is one of his greatest legacies. See www.handofhelp.org As he came through Mormon country here in the West, very often he was asked what he thought of the Book of Mormon. He had obtained a Romanian copy, and had read it. His response to his Mormon inquirers was, "It is the word of God. Why aren't you living it?"

Best book other than the Bible.,
By Steve, steve@godseesyou.com (Thorp, Wisconsin USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Through the Fire Without Burning (Paperback)
Other than the Bible, this is the best book I have ever read. Solid proof that God is alive and at work, and He is not mute as some believe! Dimitru Duduman was a true man of God.Though I have not yet met his grandson, Michael Boldea Jr., I plan to very soon. Translating for Dimitru since he was 12 years old, I imagine he has quite the stories to tell. :) Get the book, it is excellent! I'll buy any copies you don't want.

I published the book & knew Dumitru well,
By
This review is from: Through the Fire Without Burning (Paperback)
I met Dumitru back in the late 80's...after he was tortured & released by the Romanian Secret Police and was speaking for Open Doors Ministry at their banquets. I worked with him & his family for many years & went to Romania with him in 1990. My church helped him build an orphanage there(Bonisan by Suceava in Moldavia) after I got back.
I initially published the book myself after finally getting the (disk)manuscript from Dumitru in '91. It has since sold I believe close to 50,000 copies pretty much by word of mouth. My initial book was revised by Dumitru. What can I say about Dumitru & his prophesies? Well it's true many of what he said, dreamed, had visions of, or said angels told him have not come true. But he also told me that America was foretold in REV 18:9 'where the great city was burning & in one Hour your judgement would come & ships would see her burning'.... Now that was pretty remarkable as on 9-11 I was watching NY burning on TV & this exact prophecy of Dumitru's burned in my mind & heart. As someone not really of the pentecostal persuasion(more a Francis Schaefer type)I am not real sure of much of this prophecy stuff. We were in Romania seeing a woman Dumitru considered a great prophetess and she told us none of us would die but we would see Christ come back. Now I thought that was a cool promise from God and hope it's true but in the meantime of 8 or nine of us there I think 3 are still alive...so does that mean the lady was a fake? I have no idea though like Dumitru she seemed to live a holy life devoted to Christ. So I'll leave it in God's hands. Personally I think if Dumitru's message can wake us up to be more the Bride of Christ then perhaps God is using him in spite of his imperfections and failings. All I know is he was a man of impeccable character and one of the true soldiers of Christ like Paul that I've ever met. Chip Rohlke Christ is Creator.com Ministry Melbourne Florida 321-773-4020

No one is ever bothered by a false prophet,
By A Customer
This review is from: Through the Fire Without Burning (Paperback)
What [to] do with the fact that when Dumitru has given dates for the fulfillment of his prophecies, particularly on his web site, he has been ENTIRELY wrong? I suppose it doesn't bother Dumitru ... It never bothers a false prophet when his dates are wrong-never:<<NOV. 1993: "I opened a great book with the words "BOOK OF THE GENTILES" JAN. 1996: The angel said to me, "Do you remember how many pages were left to fill when That's a clear statement. There's no ambiguity: the time remaining would be LESS than the America didn't burn. All things that Dumitru prophesied that never happened in the timeframe he gave. What's even more significant is that he missed ALL of the enormous events that really did happen in 2001! He was, in fact, AS WRONG AS IT IS HUMANLY POSSIBLE TO BE. ... In the name of Jesus Christ, David Haggith (Who's tired of false Pentecostal prophets. Now right ones would be a different matter.)

Excellent, challenging, and thought-provoking!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Through the Fire Without Burning (Paperback)
The book tells the story of Dumitru Duduman, a Christian who
underwent tremendous persecution in a Communist nation. The
message he brings is that Christians serve a God who can
deliver them through any situation. At the end of the book,
some prophecies Dumitru has received are described. Consider
them prayerfully!

A Biography about Christian Persecution under Communism,
By A Customer
This review is from: Through the Fire Without Burning (Paperback)
This book contains events depicting the brutal repression of the Christian religion in a Balkan country. It also documents many, many faith healing experiences performed by the author during his struggle, and multiple apparitions of angels or spirit beings who protected the author. A prediction of the "end times" on earth, based on a dream and a vision, is offered and very thought provoking. The reader considers some of the events revealed for the "end times" highly unlikely based on his military experience and knowledge of modern weaponry. However, the scenerio leading to Armageddon may be likely based on the current economic conditions in the far east which could lead to the formation of an alliance of countries in that area that was previously thought most unlikely.

The book has some interesting ideas...,
By A Customer
This review is from: Through the Fire Without Burning (Paperback)
A note to David Haggith: Duduman has died since he wrote this book. I am not certain of the clarity of the page time theory. Granted though, it can be rather vague. And making dates is the surest way to find out if the person is a prophet or ... I think as we are now in a situation with Iraq, this book lends itself to speculations which feed our fear. God isn't the author of fear, so consider the source.
