If you are looking at this page you propably know Artillery already, so i wont go into details about the band. If not, then you are missing out on one of the greatest thrash metal bands coming out of the 80's, yet not very many people seem to know them. their music is characterized by energetic technical riffing, strong hooklines, over the top vocals, and sometimes hilarious lyrics.

This box-set comes as a true blessing for fans of thrash metal. it includes all 4 studio albums plus a great collection of bonus tracks in the form of old demo recordings and tracks not on the original versions (for example the bonus tracks "Fly" and "Jester" on B.A.C.K., originally appearing only on the japanese version of the album). it all comes in an awesome book like packaging with the booklet containing a biography and liner notes from Michael Stützer plus a lot of cool photos and complete lyrics for all the tracks.

For many people the greatest thing about this box set will be that it includes Artillery's third album "By Inheritance", an album that has been long out of print and if you wanted it yout could easily get to pay about 100$ for it on ebay. The album is by many considered to be their finest, and a re-release is LONG overdue!

Whether you are a long time fan of Artillery's, or have just gotten to know them, this box is definately worth a purchase! and it is limited to 2000 units, so be quick if you don't wan't to miss out on a great piece of thrash metal history!

I knew this was a great deal, but I had the biggest smile when it arrived and I tore off the packaging. How could I not be excited - all four Artillery albums plus lots of extra bonus demo material combined with beautiful packaging and detailed liner notes that appear to have been done in collaboration with the actual band members.
The last time I purchased Terror Squad on CD half of the album was recorded at such a low volume that it rendered it useless. Not the case here. Metal Mind Productions has done a great job of preserving the sound quality on all four albums.
Obviously the most important thing about this set is the inclusion of By Inheritance. Considering this addition alone you just can't go wrong with this product. Highly recommended.

As far as Artillery goes, this was really good. It's very hard to find their early stuff and this makes it really easy. If you have heard their 2011 album, however, and are hunting for the earlier stuff, don't expect it to be better. It's not.

I recently found out about this band quite a few months back. I had no idea what I was missing until I actaully bought this box set. I was looking around for some good old school metal and found these guys. I will tell you they do not dissapoint. As soon as I saw this I had to have it. Well worth every cent. You cannot go wrong. while in my opinion B.A.C.K. could have been better that is the only album byt these guys that is not great, but it could have been worse. Besides that you get quite a chunk of rare songs such as demos, the rare Jester 12" songs on B.A.C.K. etc... The albums are remastered onto Gold Discs. The liner Notes are extensive and very informative. Since their is only 2000 copies you better hurry up and buy yours. Truly underrated quality Thrash from Europe.
