At the outset, these look like great controllers. A tad on the small side but very comfortable to use. Buttons feel good, thumbsticks are tight, what's not to love? Well, the digital pad for one thing. It's terrible. I purchased these for use with classic game emulators. Those games demand a good directional pad and these controllers do not deliver. They require precise button presses to acheive the desired action. Pressing down, for example, should be as easy as pressing down on the pad right? Well on these, if you press down slightly to the right or left on that down button, your character moves diagonally. This is painfully frustrating on puzzle games like Dr. Mario or Tetris where precision is key. On games that don't require the d-pad, I'm sure they perform adequately but for what i needed, they did not make the cut.
