I imported this cd from the United States. It cost my $40.00.
I was worth tha money cause Pac was a legend, and a prophet. Thug Angel is a soundtrack dedicated to the memory of 2Pac. Some members of the Outlawz talk about their own memories of pac and Storm explains how she felt when pac died..

3.0 out of 5 stars Thug Angel: The Life of an Outlaw, March 22, 2004
This review is from: Thug Angel: The Life of an Outlaw (Audio CD)
"Thug Angel: The Life of an Outlaw" (2002) is a good soundtrack. Listed as 16 tracks here, its actually 22 when you include the intros/interviews which come from Fatal, Storm, and Mutulu Shakur. Music comes from the Outlawz, Trulife, Mack 10, Young Dre, G Money, Tech N9NE, Free Jack, Storm, Kumasi, Hope, QD3, Femi Ojetunde, Mac Mall, Big Syke, Ray Luv, Keplyn, Africa Heartbeat, Troy Horne, Hope Shorter, Stepchylde, and Johhny "J". Three of the Outlawz, Napolean, Young Noble & Hellraza start things off strong with the title track "Thug Angel: The Life of an Outlaw". Next TruLife, Mack 10 & Young Dre hook up for a banging collabration on "We Them Gangstas". Young Dre and G Money drop a real standout over some premium beats on "Heavenly Father". Tech N9NE then delivers another nice cut with "Keep on Keepin' On" which features vocals from Big Krizz Kaliko and Kutt. Storm's two interview's go deep, listening to her talk about Pac you can just feel the love. Then she hooks up with talented R & B singer Selena Johnson and delivers an exceptional track with "Pain". Kumasi & Hope deliver another decent collabration with "Soldier", then Fatal talks about when he first met Pac, and how Pac lifted him up. Young Noble, Napolean, Edi of the Outlawz then drop "Euphanasia" an unreleased cut from 1996. Mac Mall and Pac's boy Big Syke drop a grimey track with "Killuminati" and TruLife, Young Noble and Napolean murder the fastpaced "Life". Another standout is Ray Luv's "The Day the World Ended", impressive lyrics, memorable beat. Mutulu Shakur (Atlanta State Penitentiary) shares another side of Pac. Troy Horne and Hope Shorter drop a impressive duet with the positive "Champion" and producer Johnny "J" steps up to the MIC for a change with Stepchlyde on the moving "Thinking of You" (Tribute to Tupac). Fatal, Noble, Edi and Napolean of the Outlawz close off the album well with "Killaz in Here", a track dedicated to Pac and Kadafi. Inside the cd insert, many of the artists give there dedications to Tupac, and collectively throughout this release and the movie, you can feel the respect and love these people had for him. This is a soundtrack I would recommend to Pac fans like myself. One.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thug Angel, October 16, 2004
This review is from: Thug Angel: The Life of an Outlaw (Audio CD)
The CD had some really good tracks and interviews on it- definitely a must-have for Tupac fans- however I took the first copy back because all the tracks had crackling sounds through them. The second copy I got had the same problem. i don't know if it was just a bad shipment the store got- or if all my cd players didn't like the cd- either way I settled with the crackling sound quality- the cd was worth it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Thug Angel: The Life of an Outlaw [SOUNDTRACK] REVIEW, September 27, 2003

Crazy Jim (Massachusetts) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Thug Angel: The Life of an Outlaw (Audio CD)
The soundtrack to the QD3-produced documentary on rap icon, Tupac Shakur contains no performances by Pac himself but enough of his old homies from The Outlawz to Big Syke have shown up for this one. Featuring interviews with everyone from Hussein Fatal to former lady Outlaw, Storm, this one is a good tribute album to Pac.

This one also features material from Mack 10, Tech N9ne, and many others. Most of the music from The Outlawz including a previously-unreleased track from their Death Row days called "Euphanasia" is pretty standard stuff. Pac's old producer, Johnny J, provides one of the biggest highlights here as he joins up with Stepchylde for a very moving tribute called "Thinking Of You". The uplifting "Champion" by Troy Horne also keeps this one going at a nice pace. Keplyn's "Ghetto Lullabye" is an absolutetly extrordinary track as well. Storm gives a tribute of her own on "Pain" and her love for Pac is obvious here.

Tech N9ne's "Keep on Keeping On" is a real good track but it has already been featured on his "Absolute Power" LP and really has little to do with the theme of the soundtrack. Young Dre's "Heavenly Father" which features G-Money is a nice addition. It works as a musical conversation with the Man Upstairs as Dre speaks on the world, post-9/11.

This is a real good tribute album but if you aren't a fan of Pac or his crew in the game then there might not be a lot to hold your interest here. Any Pac fan will certainly enjoy though.

This soundtrack has some good songs by the Outlawz and a few others, but it also has a few horrible songs by people I Never heard of. Most of the production was handled by QD3. Has a few interviews (2 deep ones with Storm and 2 deep ones with Hussein Fatal and one with Mutulu Shakur). Not really worth buying, just download the few songs that are good.

#1 - 8 (Napoleon, Young Noble, Hellraza)
#2 - 8.5 (Tru Life, Mack 10, Young Dre)
#4 - 7 (Young Dre f/ G Money)

tight and unlike suge knight and everybody else in the industry who wants to remember pac this cd has no music from pac whatsoever and that what makes it interesting, a good cd and a shame that the industry is scared of the real street flavor i prefer this way better than jay z, and 50 cent.
