Young Noble (1 of the 3 remaining Outlawz in the group) and Hussein Fatal (formerly of the Outlawz) come together and bring a nice album. Noble has been by far the busiest of the Outlawz putting out albums with Fatal, Layzie Bone, Edi Amin, Dead Prez, and JT the Bigga Figga over the past few years, and this is probably the best one of those. While Hussein Fatal has been under the radar recently releasing a few mixtapes but not much else as far as I know. With 14 songs on here, Noble is on all 14 and Fatal is on 13 of the 14, guests are on half of the songs, and are mostly good. Of the 14 songs, 1 is almost a classic, 5 are ok, and the other 8 are good, a few being real good. Production is pretty good as well. J Silva does 10 songs, P Silva and Cozmo each do 2. A must have album for fans of the Outlawz.

I bought this album when it came out. OUTLAWZ always put out the realist music with the most essence in their verses. Really listen to um... They don't talk about "bling." They talk about the struggle, the have-nots & how to make it through this storm called life. O4L... Outlaw 4 Lyfe...

YOUNG NOBLE & HUSSEIN FATAL

THUG IN THUG OUT

I have been a fan of the Outlawz long before they were even called that [see the "Me Against The World" album from Pac]. But from all of the members Fatal has been my favorite so you know I was excited when this cd came out.

1.INTRO

2.HELLA BARS-J Silva did his thing on the production on this one it kinda has a rock feel to it with a little 80's twist to it. Young Noble sparks it off with a wonderful verse touching on every thing you could think of with his portion of the hella bars. Then my favorite of the Outlawz Fatal comes in with a show stealing verse riding the track with ease.5/5

3.IF I DIE TONIGHT-Silva returns with another great beat for these two Outlawz to bless with some verses. Fatal starts it out with a great personal verse speaking on dead friends and family and of course the Outlawz. Noble is up next with a great verse with an even better flow that kinda surprised me. Also I love the hook to this song it fits the beat well and is very catchy, plus the last verse is excellent. I love that Fatal speaks on the squashed beef with Mobb Deep, excellent song.5/5

4.GANGSTA PARTY 2-with a title like that you are most likely setting yourself up for a disappointment, even with the originals producer Daz Dillinger on it. And of course that is what it is since it does not live up to the original in any way, Daz doesn't even produce it. J Silva's production on this is smooth and would have sounded better with a different name and hook. Daz starts it out with a good verse followed by Noble who does equally as well. Fatal ends things with the best verse but the hook is just to plain.3.5/5

5.KILLA KADAF-J Silva returns to drop another great instrumental that fits these twos style very well, the hook is cool to. Fatal starts things out with a good verse but he borrows from another song of his. Noble is up next and does a great job with an excellent verse. The last verse is done by Fatal who makes up for the last one with a great closing verse. This is a good song and a worthy addition to the abum.4/5

6.WHERE WILL I GO-Cozmo produces this track right here that would have made an excellent single, may be my favorite song on the album. The chorus on this song is great Matt Blaque and Noble sounds great on the first verse. Fatal hits up the second verse and does his thing with that signature Jersey Style. Then comes another member of the Outlawz E.D.I. who drops an excellent verse, 3 of them back together on one track. This is a close one to being the best one on the album.5/5

7.GET IT HOW I GET IT-J Silva returns and this time he comes with the track that sounds the most like these guys style, perfect fit to their east coast style. Both of these guys drop some of their best verses ever on this track. They share each verse and both hold this one down easily. The hook by Fatal is great as well and flows well with the beat.5/5

8.GET MONEY GET BENT-another east coast sounding production by J Silva although it gets repetitive at times. Noble is on the hook this time and sounds good and Fatal tackles the first verse with ease. Young Noble sounds great on this track and his flow over this instrumental is flawless. I bet you can guess what this song is about.4/5

9.STREETS DON'T CHANGE-Silva out does himself on this one because the production is really smooth and easy on the ears. The great chorus also adds a lot to this piano and bass driven track, so much so that this could have been a cool single. Young Noble starts it of with a fitting verse followed by a nice verse from Hussein Fatal. The final verse is nice as well, followed by some great piano playing.5/5

10.CAN U BUY THAT-Silva is back this time with a very west coast sounding production with a nice violin in it. C-BO is here and supplies the first verse with his signature flow, and Fatal drops the second verse about what you can't buy in the streets. Noble drops the last verse and also supplies the hook.4/5

11.B****** ON MY LEFT-all I can say about the beat on this one is "man what a smooth sounding beat", Silva is back but this time it is P Silva and he can produce a track. Noble sounds as smooth as the beat switching up his flow to fit the beat and he also supplies the chorus for this one. Noble's second verse is just as cool sounding as the first still switching it up, and the hook is nice. The third verse from Noble since this is his song sounds just as good as the first two but this one is more of his usual style. If the said "women on my left" in the edited version this would be the perfect single. Possibly the best song on the album.5/5

12.OUTLAWZ 4 LIFE-P Silva is back for one more track and this one sounds excellent as well with horns and every thing. Noble drops the first verse and of course kills it, he is also on the hook with Fatal. Fatal kills the second verse with a vicious flow and verse, you already knew that though if you know Fatal. This would have been the perfect song to bring E.D.I. back and to also add Kastro to it. Noble and Fatal split the last verse and kill as expected.4.5/5

13.STAY ON TOP OF UR GAME-one of my favorite rappers ever Yukmouth joins the Lawz on this one. Noble starts it off with a cool verse and spits with his usual dirty Jersey style, plus the hook sounds catchy so that is a plus. Yukmouth destroys the second verse with some great punch lines and a delivers them with a great flow. Fatal hits the last verse hard with a great flow and some great street oriented lyrics. J Silva delivered on this track with a great instrumental for these three. I would love to hear a duo album from Fatal and Yukmouth, that would be crazy.4.5/5

14.KEEPIN' IT G-another Outlaw member is one this track and he goes by the name of Big Syke, that is right the Thug Life legend him self. Noble sounds right at home over J Silva's great production with the first verse. Then is j Silva's boy G-Dub with a great flow and verse, in fact his flow on here is excellent. Then of course the final verse is handled by the great Hussein Fatal, and the hook is handled by Big Syke.4.5/5

15.TURN BACK DA CLOCK-finally the other member Kastro appears on a track on this excellent J Silva production. Noble starts things off with a pretty good verse and the hook fits the beat well. Fatal gets the second verse and kills it as one would expect but it is the final verse I am looking forward to. Finally Kastro is on a track and blesses it with his perfect laid back flow and kills the verse. This is a great way to end the album and Kastro really sounds great over the slow production.
