2.0 out of 5 stars OK - but spacing is off
Bought this for a '10 BMW 335xi, and although it fits functionally OK, the height of the plastic spacers (which actually support the rack, and insert into the roofline flaps) are a bit too tall, which means the rubber boot on the rack feet stands off the roofline about .100-.150". Bought this for a '10 BMW 335xi, and although it fits functionally OK, the height of the plastic spacers (which actually support the rack, and insert into the roofline flaps) are a bit too tall, which means the rubber boot on the rack feet stands off the roofline about .100-.150". This leaves a space between the roof, and rubber boot on the rack feet. It doesn't look very clean. I plan on modifying the plastic spacers by sanding them down a bit, but it sure seems like this should be perfect out of the box, and not require me to play with it! Especially when the whole rack system costs $300-400. My last car (A Chevy) was a much better fit, and because the rack rested on the rubber feet, could hold more weight. This is rated for less weight than my last one. Functionally OK, albeit for less cargo weight, but disappointed with the way its made.
