Installation was a breeze, first time putting a bike on was a little tricky. The tightening bolt is tough to tighten initially, hard to grip if you are 'reaching' or the weather is cold. Rack looks great though and now I've got the hang of it I am very happy. Also recommend locks to secure rack and bike.
For the price, no complaints at all.

This is a very nice product with high quality components. Warning, Item description says it will fit factory roof racks.... this is ONLY true if your factory bars are LESS than 1.25" wide. My Expedition's factory roof rack bars are 2.5" wide, I had to "adapt" it by drilling holes into my front bar to make it work. Good Luck !

Works great. Holds the bike at speeds up to 80 mph, attaches to the rest of the rack w/ no problems. Cheaper than ebay.

These are compatible with "square and round" bars. This does not mean Aero bars. Since Thule only makes square and Aero bars (which are round compared to square bars), I assumed that it was compatible with all Thule crossbars. Do not buy if you have Aero bars. I am not stupid; I read the entire description and believe it is misleading.

I bought this a year ago as my first bike carrier. Having no basis for comparison, I thought a fork-mount would be more secure and ride better than an upright. It works OK, but does not feel as stable as I had hoped. Later on I got a Criterium upright off Craig's list for my son's bike, which does not have a pop off front tire. The guy had two for sale. I wish I had bought both and trashed the Prologue. Now, after only a year and only and a handful of uses, I discovered the lock does not function. Now I'm wondering if it ever did. While I don't necessarily regret buying this (it was relatively inexpensive and my first rack), I certainly would not buy another, nor recommend it to anyone else.

This was very easy to install bike mount. It was the first of this type that I have owned. It installed quickly and held the bike securely. I would recommend it to anyone else wanting a fork mount bike carrier. The front mounting bracket looks as though it was designed to also work on round mounting racks, I have Thule racks.

Product does what is suppose to do, but can be tough to adjust depending on your fork.

I had to return this product because, even though the Thule website led me to believe it would, it did NOT fit on the factory-installed cross braces on my SUV.
