An excellent resource for homeowners!,
By
This review is from: All Thumbs Guide to Repairing Major Home Appliances (All Thumbs Series) (Paperback)
Very informative diagnostic and repair instructions for many of the typical major appliances found in homes today. Describes common repairs that refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, washers, dryers and water heaters usually require even through normal, everyday use. The detailed illustrations help describe component test and replacement procedures that enable non-technical persons to understand the cause and work towards a solution. This reference will allow homeowners to quickly determine if a repair is within their ability or if it requires professional attention. Don't wait until your appliance breaks down to get this book. It is a great reference and is a must for all homeowners! It would also make a nice house warming gift that will be used and appreciated years to come. Webmaster Appliance411.com

My Handyman Swears by this Book,
By A Customer
This review is from: All Thumbs Guide to Repairing Major Home Appliances (All Thumbs Series) (Paperback)
Our neighborhood handyman, Tony, swears by this book. He diagnosed and fixed my washing machine (18 years old) with this book and the part cost less the $20 (it was the pump). A repair man was willing to come out and fix it for $100 to $120. Tony advised us to get this book and so that's what I am doing!

Simplistic and sparse....not of any use except forthe most simple of problems. Don't waste your money... unfortunately I did. Buy the Cheap & Easy series of books....they're excellent and detailed and informative. |
