Almost perfect...,
This review is from: Thunder Down Under (Audio CD)
I can't believe no one has reviewed this album yet!! Grade A stuff. I fell in love with Hot Snakes around the time Suicide Invoice came out, and have since been on a mission to collect all of their tunes.
They are (were) in a genre of their own in my opinion. The only track I could live without is "Rock And Roll Will Never Die", but it's sort of a goof or a skit of a track. Buy. Listen. Love. Repeat.

Rocks Off,
By John Wraith "Studio Gangsta" (Rural Virginia) - See all my reviews

The greatest band ever.
In an ideal world, the Hot Snakes and the Exploding Hearts would be my generation's Beatles and Stones, or our Nirvana and Pearl Jam, or our Pistols and Clash, or our Elvis and Jerry Lee. Or anyway, something really important. Should be required listening for any old-timers who think that rock and roll has not been glorious since Sun Records in the 50s or CBGBs in the 70s.

I miss Hot Snakes,
This review is from: Thunder Down Under (Audio CD)
These guys were so amazing. I like all of their studio albums, especially the last two, but this album really shows how good they were at playing the songs live.. and this is the best case scenario..as they recorded this live in a studio. Spot on, great energy, and the sound quality is top notch. They'll be missed.
