haha. I like thunder in paradise, the first of the three movies. I have not seen the other two.
the one bad thing of note is the horrible missile at the end of the movie. So the ending really is no good because of that. anyway the movie is good.
I like the music used through the movie, including the main theme.
the movie is great, with fun characters, even when they are stupid, its so funny that it works.
the bad guys are very funny and I like them. you can get a dvd of this or a vhs if you still have vhs.
this movie is great for small kids, as there is no blood, and no really bad stuff. Its more comedy and lightweight.
hulk hogan is pretty cool, and his friends as well.
Man I would love to have a boat like that !! thunder is the bomb !!

i used to watch this all the time when i was younger, good movie lots of re-watch ability on this one.

...i read this one of the 3 has the only pinellas county footage-((cool, since i live here)); good show. it was funny w/silly fun, changeable action, scenery and stories to it. don't have time to tell it's story but it is worth buyin/keepin.

When I was a little kid growing up I was always the fat kid who got picked on. Knowing that the Hulk had to go through the same thing helps me to like him more. In this movie the Hulk does what you want an action hero to do he takes on the communist's, modern day pirates, searches for buried treasure, and of course gets the girl in the end. Hulk Hogan deleivered a fine performance as an action hero and made a sound video. When one reviewer may pick on the video because the special effects were not that great it's because the show did not have a larger budget. (Most of it was spent on the boat).

This video is great for any kid who grew up watching the Hulk on the WWF and remembers him as one of wrestlings greatest champions who gave us an important code to live by. The Hulkster does not disappoint any one with this video. Long live the greatest wrestler of all time, long live the Hulkster.

well...i loved thunder in paradise as a kid and now it is a great trip through memory lane to be able to see it again

When Hulk Hogan wasn't bodyslamming wrestlers in the WWF or WCW, he liked to try his hand at acting. In this two-hour pilot to the syndicated TV series, Hogan is R.J. Spencer, a Navy Seal with an elite super boat called "Thunder" that can fly across the ocean at almost light speed. Paired with zany sidekick, Bru, the two battle drug dealers, jewel theives, and of course, the Cuban government. There is one enemy too powerful though as the government won't fund their boat and they could lose it. Meanwhile, a snobby hotel owner, Megan Whittaker (Felicity Watterman) could lose it all if she isn't married before a certain date. This sets up an indecent preposal where Spencer and Megan agree to get married.

This one has it all from old wrestlers like Brutus Beefcake and Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart to sexy supermodel Carol Alt as a cocktail waitress. Don't forget Charlotte Rae as Megan's aunt. It doesn't get much better than this. Look out for a super realistic heat-seeking missle.
