5.0 out of 5 stars Manowar always plays on 10!
Great new Manowar CD.

God or Man is awesome.

Let the Gods decide is great, too.

Father is a real tear jerker. Very proud and meaningful...
I though of my Dad and Grandfater...

New drummer, but does Scott Columbes justice.

LOVE manowar. I will always support them...

5.0 out of 5 stars A return?, March 8, 2011
This review is from: Thunder In The Sky (Audio CD)
I personally liked the EP quite a lot, it just might be the return of the glory days of Manowar, unlike Battle Hymns MMXI.The singing is emotional, the guitars are powerful, the basses are fast and the drums are just....whoah! I recomend it to any metal fan(though I must warn you, there are quite a few ballads on it) and it's a must buy for any Manowar fan, especially because of CD 2 wich contains the song called 'Father' in lots of languages, wich is a great tribute from Manowar to the fans!

This is a kick ass Cd in the purest metal form !!! Only six songs, thats the only thing that sucks !! This disc is meant to be played loud ! "Let the Gods Decide", is the coolest and heaviest Manowar song I ever heard. For some reason my copy didnt come with the many versions(disc) of Father, so I cant review that disc ? ROCK ON!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Manowar EP That Plays Loud, January 31, 2010

"Thunder In The Sky" by Manowar is a great ep and it plays loud. I highly recommend fans Of Manowar to buy this cd. Unfortunately Manowar's past cds or so called remastered cds don't play as loud as this cd does. Except for their "Dawn Of Battle" single, that one plays loud too. The reason I am criticizing the volume of the Manowar cds is this band likes to claim they are the loudest metal band on earth. It is nice that this cd plays loud, but for a band who claims to be the loudest, it sucks that the so called remastered cds and other cds that have not been remastered yet just don't play as loud as their latest release. With 24 bit remastering being available, hopefully Manowar will re-release their past cds have them play as loud as their new ep "Thunder In The Sky" which kicks ass.

4.0 out of 5 stars They make the same album every few years and I couldnt be happier! alright?!, December 4, 2009

not much to say....same stuff and it sounds good
The first song, Thunder in the Sky, is, in my opinion, pretty lame and uninspired but after that we've got some great songs, here....

2.0 out of 5 stars Is it plagiarism or just part II?, April 2, 2010

The first time I listened to this CD I could have swore I was listening to Judas Priest. Successive listening has only reinforced that feeling. From the hard driving guitars, aggressive lyrics and even the singers voice. It's like Judas Priest wrapped up for a new generation. The sounds hasn't changed at all. I guess the band members are just younger. Anyone who likes this should take a listen to Judas Priest who was around in the 70's. Let me know if you can tell the difference. I can't. That isn't bad since Judas Priest was a great rock band in the day, but this music isn't new or unique.
