Thunder Valley is a little known campground in Northern Minnesota. Rico, Julie, Conner, Dave and Sam take their annual summer trip. The five friends wonder why such a nice campground is so unknown. On the first day of the trip Rico meets the girl of his dreams; Sunny is sexy, smart, and sweet. Rico quickly forms a bond with Sunny. 1.0 out of 5 stars Poorly written July 28, 2011
By Sirena
Format:Kindle Edition
Five young adults head to the remote woods for several days of drinking until they pass out, yelling, and annoying people around them. Really, what could go wrong?

This book is very poorly written. I finished it out of a strange fascination with how badly it was composed. The characters were completely superficial, and there were many sentences and entire paragraphs that made no sense. It reads as though it were written by a 17-year-old boy who flunked out of the 8th grade and never bothered to further his education.

4.0 out of 5 stars Thunder Valley (Thunder Valley Trilogy) Kindle edition January 20, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Great first publication from a very sharp new talent. The story was extremely relateable. It reminded me of my annual camptrips with close friends. The dialogue is spot on and very funny. The characters are crisp and clear. The setting is perfect and very well described. Very pleasant easy read with just the right amount of tension that builds to a really shocking ending; sets up the triology beautifully. I cant wait to read the next edition in the series. The story has something for everyone: laughter, sensuality, anticipation and fear. I would recommend to all, you wont be disappointed.Thunder Valley (Thunder Valley Trilogy)

2.0 out of 5 stars Well...the sex is fun! October 15, 2013

Fun story....if you can muddle through the poor construction, weak character development, and lack of editing. Tried it by mistake but since it was free owed it to the author to push through. Sex scenes displayed more power than the rest of the book and made the story fun. Hats off to the author for the effort but the reader shouldn't have to work as hard as he did to get to the end.

1.0 out of 5 stars What a nightmare! September 27, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The premise was awesome, but the product was painful. Poor sentence structure was the least of this author's problems. A potentially awesome plot line read like a B horror film script. The writing was hackneyed, at best, and a travesty at worst. While I applaud anyone brave enough to throw their hat in the ring of publishing, this was simply a poorly turned out effort in every aspect. It's tragic when the book's Amazon description is written at a higher level than the product.

This book physically hurt to read. It is just like every other book about idiots who think they are in love. No umphhh, just drinking, lots of drinking and terrible writing. I found myself slamming this book against my head several times in hopes that a better plot who form.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amaryllis September 6, 2012

Wow, this book was nothing like what I normally read, shocking ending. I was going camping so I thought I would read it on the camp out. I'm glad I didn't read the last part while still on the camp out.

3.0 out of 5 stars Unique Concept... June 26, 2012
By E.
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Thunder Valley has the proper elements to create an interesting read but much is lost to poor editing. The humor and sexual tension between a group of close friends creates a sense of realism but the lack of character development and painstakingly detailed descriptions of the setting leaves much to be desired.

The story was slow moving and boring. You can tell this author has very little experience writing. I would not recommend it.

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappionted
The author concentrated too much on silly details. There was a lot of rambling which caused me to skip several pages at a time. The ended left me disappointed.

Badly written, badly edited, and just not a good story. I kept on reading hoping it would improve, but it never did and the ending was ridiculous. Waste of time. Read more
