I ordered my 2002 Thunderbird months ago, long before any hit the streets, and long before there were any showroom models to sit inside of or take for a test drive.
This book gave me a chance to know this car from the inside out. There are countless photos of the car (inside and out), in addition to technical descriptions and diagrams of the components. You even get to see a T-Bird assembled step by step. It's a fascinating book...

I have a 2005 Thunderbird. This book will explain how this car was designed, and came to be. I have learned more about my car and how it was created. If you own one of the retro T Birds you will love this book.

Michael Lamm is one of the finest automotive journalists working today.
He takes the reader behind the scenes at Ford in the late 1990's to tell the story
of the executives, engineers and designers who were the driving force behind the
reincarnation of the classic Thunderbird roadster. Lamm gets to the real passion
behind the business case for this great car. If the car excited you, this is a must-read.

Fantastic book and so fascinating about this car. Not just a great looking car but all the innovation behind from variable speed hydraulic fans to ferrari type ila suspension to the jaguar engine. Returnless fuel injection. Goes on and on.
