Could be better.., September 16, 2005
This review is from: Thunderbird Anthology 2002 (CD-ROM)
It's nice to have Thunderbird info in one place, but this CDROM could be better. Here's why:
* By today's standards, the scans are relatively low resolution (~200KB for the ads and much less for the brochures and bird pictures). There are better scans on E-bay to be had for free of virtually all of the ads.
* The brochure section only shows the cover of the brochure.
* There are only a few movies. I know more are out there, easy to obtain, and even on the internet for free. Again, the resolution is very low and jerky (even on my brand new laptop).
* I own a '63 T-Bird, and found a fair number of mistakes in the standard features, and even a picture labeled '63 which was actually for a '64-'66.
If this CD was full of his-res images and had been fact-checked by someone knowledgeable in Thunderbirds, I'd give it five stars. As it is, it's an adequate primer, but perhaps a new edition is in order.

Great CD-ROM, a must have!, July 12, 2003

Incredible CD-ROM with everything you could posibly want to know about the 1955 to 1966 classic T-Birds. Hundreds of high-res photos. It even has TV commercials and sound effects. The screen saver is worth the price alone! I also have other titles from this author which I also love!
