This review is from: Thundercats Sword 1986 From Cartoon Movie Thunder Cats (Misc.)
This is ridiculous. These types of Items make me want there to be a "0" option on the star rating.

I mean, Where do I begin? The Sword is ALL WRONG. Any fan will know that this is a piece of junk, and that the people pushing it are just trying to sell knock off junk.

First thing you should know, potential buyer: They never licensed any swordmaker to make any type of Thundercats sword. Not united Cutlery, Not Kit Rae, not anyone. Mainly because it was an 80's property and they just didn't do that back in the 80's like they do today. This is a Hong Kong or Pakistani Knockoff. Meaning it is weighted improperly, it is inaccurate in its details, and lastly, probably extremely dangerous because of poor craftsmanship.

So onto why the sword is utterly ridiculous. To begin, they took a picture from the cartoon, no doubt, of the sword of omens and created a sword out of it. The problem? The picture that seems to have been sent was only of the swords hilt. and it was of the swords hilt in the inactive position. The dagger position. So If anything the blade should be , oh, about 2 feet shorter.

It's my firm belief that the knockoff manufacturers either didn't care that they got it wrong, or it was too late in it's creation to change the plans once they did figure out it was wrong.

Either way, don't buy this for a Thundercats fan unless you want to insult them or be highly embarassed at buying a knock off. Knockoffs work in Hand bags, as you most likely can get the same handbag for about $400 cheaper, but when it comes to swords, the second they don't get it right, it becomes a ridiculous waste of materials and money.

Don't buy this. Stay away from it, and if you want an accurate one, many custom sword makers will be more than happy to do it for a reasonable price. Don't feed the people who commit fraud. They'll stop comitting it if you don't condone it.
