4.0 out of 5 stars A nice edition to a school library collection, April 7, 2006
By

I like how this book is set up. The sections usually start out with a question to be answered like: "Can Landslides Be Predicted?" There are also several "case studies" of different places and times in history when landslides occured and what the effects were. Bold printed words appear in the glossary in the back. The "More Books to Read" section was disappoionting because it only had three books. They do use an index to categorize topics in the book. I also like the relevant photographs and helpful captions throughout the book. The reading level is good for an elementary school library.
