If you like the sound of rain drops and a good thunderstorm, you will love this CD. It is very relaxing and adds soft music to make it even better. I have listened to many different rainstorm cd's before, and this one is by far the best that I have heard (besides the real thing) :)

I borrowed this CD from my boss as an act of desperation. I'm a programmer and needed to "filter out" the distractions of an open office environment in order to concentrate on a complex problem. It worked great. So I'm buying it now. Like an electronic office door. The sound is "safe" to ignore. And very relaxing. The quality was very good. The CD cover had "DDD" on it indicating an all digital production. One problem; Drink coffee or it may put you to sleep.

This CD is really calming. Not everyone will believe it, but, it is so.

Sometimes when I am quietly listening to the CD, the thunder sounds can

startle me, but, I chuckle and realize that it is ONLY a CD. One night

my husband woke up and stated, "When did it start raining?" I laughed

and told him to go back to sleep, it was just a CD. It was wishful

thinking on his part as we are experiencing a drought in Central Florida.

I also purchased the "Thundering Rainstorm" with enhanced music. It is

a relaxing CD, also. You have to buy it and listen to it to believe me.

Ever since I was young, I've never been able to sleep. My mom had this CD and another which was Song of the Whales. I snatched both from her and said ehh I'll try. It was probably the best decision I ever made. It's incredibly relaxing and I always fall asleep before the track ends. The combination of the soft rain and the music in the background provided excellent white noise or for someone like me, something to focus on. I highly recommend this disc.

GOT THIS FOR MY DAUGHTER AS I ALREADY HAD ONE. IT IS GOOD TO LULL YOU TO SLEEP.

this cd is a little annoying. the thunder is so loud that is jolts you awake. rain not loud enough.

I bought this cd almost ten years ago. I was in a car accident a few years later and it was unfortunately destroyed. I knew I had kept the cd cover and stuck it in a box, but I couldn't find it all this time. I've searched for the cd online over the years, but could never find this specific "thundering rainstorm". Then, today I was going through boxes because I am moving, and I found it! I am so happy! I used to listen to this cd every night to help me go to sleep... I can still remember that one point in the cd where the thunder strikes kind of loud and it makes you feel like it's actually a thundering rainstorm outside. I can't wait to buy this cd and fall to sleep listening to it again. :)
