I love my Thursday Boots. I own these boots in Natural color (not on Amazon yet, but the same boot). The boots took some time to break in but it was completely worth it. They've developed an awesome patina. I get tons of compliments on them.

The construction is top notch. These boots use a Goodyear welt and can be re-soled. At $199, they completely crush anything you'd buy in a retail store like Macy's or DSW. I hope to own my for decades. I own a pair of $500 Aldens and I like my Thursday Boots equally as much.

President: Kennedy Charm with the Rough Rider Roosevelt Grit

At first glance these boots offer sophistication and professionalism but when taking it all in, Thursday Boot Company pulled off a way to shed a bit the dapper look and offer up the rustic feel I want in a higher end boot experience. I had a similar style cut a few years back and thought I would never find a similar shoe but then I was introduced to the President. The attention to detail, quality of leather, insane stitching, and durable sole, the Thursday Boot Team has solidified my allegiance.

Beautiful, well designed boots

First pair of boots I've ever owned but I absolutely love them. The leather is beautiful and everything about them indicates high quality. I normally wear a 10 or 10.5 in most shoes, but I actually ordered a size 9.5 and they fit perfectly; I wouldn't want them any bigger. Highly recommended!

Quality boot

I love these boots. They are of good quality and the price is right. As soon as I put them on they were comfortable. I normally go wide on all my shoes and boots. Thursday boots don't come in wide so I was a little concerned. To my surprise they fit well with plenty of room. The boots were a little stiff at first but have gotten better the more times I wear them. I Highly recommend a pair of Thursday boots. I plan on purchasing another pair in brown.

Great Boots

I had heard a lot of hype about these boots, and it was totally justified. The boots are very comfortable and well constructed. They are more stylish than any heavy duty boot, and stand up to bad weather than any fashionable shoe or boot.

I wrote a very detailed review on the Black Presidential boot that you may want to read. Most of what I shared in the review is the same for this shoe. I just would like to add the burgundy color of this boot is so elegant and fashionable compared to other brands. This is a high quality and very well,built brand of boot. I own both the President (plain toe) and Captain (cap toe) style and I am happy with both. I will be taking these boots and testing them in the rough terrain of Rome, Italy in a few days. I will be able to see if they live up to the comfort and sturdiness I believe this company has design these boots to be. Overall I'm very happy with Thursday Boot Company.

They look nice and are rugged at the same time

I am very impressed with these boots. These are high quality, stylish boots that I can wear to a business meeting or on a trip to a third world country (something coming up soon for me). They look nice and are rugged at the same time. Further, they are immensely comfortable. The heel elevation is just right to be good for my back and the whole shoe fits perfectly. As an added bonus, the leather smells incredible! It sounds strange, but when I opened them, my family passed them around just to smell the awesome leather. I love these boots!
