Product Description

Hyperthyroidism is a medical condition in which the thyroid gland produces too much thyroid hormone (called T3 and T4). As the thyroid gland plays a crucial role in regulating metabolism and has effects on nearly all organs in the body, an overactive thyroid can have far reaching effects on health and body functioning. The most common cause of an overactive thyroid is Graves Disease. Graves Disease is an auto-immune illness in which the immune system begins to attack parts of ones own body - in this case the thyroid gland. Other causes of Hyperthyroidism include nodules on the thyroid gland, inflammation of the thyroid (thyroiditis) and over-treatment of hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid). If left untreated, hyperthyroidism can be a significant threat to health and may cause serious complications.Mild hyperthyroidism often responds well to complimentary medicine and a holistic approach (including diet). ThyroSoothe is a 100% herbal remedy containing herbs known for their ability to soothe and normalize the overactive thyroid and related symptoms, naturally decrease levels of T4 and TSH and inhibit the binding of antibodies to the thyroid.

My Endocrinologist is amazed by my test results and the way that my thyroid feels to the touch. I went from having a sizeable goiter to a practically normal thyroid!
I was diagnosed with HyPERthyroidism "probable" Graves Disease (whatever "probable" means)about one year prior to the time I discovered Thyrosoothe. My doctor prescribed Methimazole (Tapazole) in an effort to slow down my thyroid but I was having some pretty nasty side-effects from it and it really wasn't working. Plus, I was gaining 10 lbs a month! No exaggeration!
The doctors were suggesting that I consent to having my thyroid pumped full of radiation to effectively kill it or have it surgically removed meaning that I would have to take medications for HyPOthyroidism for the rest of my life! I found these alternatives unacceptable! I began my search for a natural alternative treatment and gratefully found Thyrosoothe!
Since taking Thyrosoothe, I have absolutely NO Side-Effects (and have actually LOST 15 POUNDS)and I feel great! Better than I have since my diagnosis.
Since my test results were great, all my doctor could say was "well, keep doing what you are doing because it seems to be working" and that is exactly what I have done.
If you have HyPERthyroidism or Graves disease please try this product! (especially if you are considering radiation or surgery, what have you got to loose?) I highly recommend it. I have been taking it since July 2008 and am still doing great!
P.S. They also have a product for HyPOthyroidism.

I used to think this was a great combination of herbs. Unfortunately, bugleweed (aka gyspy weed) can cause an inflamed thyroid after prolonged use. The worst side effects come when you stop taking it. When I stopped taking it, all of my hyperthyroidism symptoms (feeling dehydrated, jittery and hormonal, insomnia, sweating, etc) showed up within days. At first I was scared that my thyroid was getting worse at a rapid rate, but after doing some research, I found that these symptoms were all caused by withdrawal of the bugleweed. After a couple weeks of being off the bugleweed, the symptoms disappeared.

I am now successfully controlling my overactive thyroid with mother wort, melissa (lemon balm), and passion flower. Raspberry leaf works for the symptoms that affect women only. Turmeric helps reduce inflammation of the thyroid.
Leafy greens, mustard and sesame (seeds, oil, tahini) in your diet can also help regulate it, but avoid seaweed and hot peppers.

Basically, this product seems convenient at first, but you are better off taking individual herbs (motherwort, lemon balm, passionflower) to avoid bugleweed.

Bugleweed has various input on how much it helps or doesn't. But we can tell you firsthand, the best thing for hyperthyroid is to juice a pile of raw crucifrous veggies (cauliflower, brocolli, kelp, chard, etc.) mixed with a carrot and stalk of celery, 3 X times day. Flavor is great and carrot adds Vit A. My husband had sudden, terrible TSH and FT4 tests 4 weeks ago and they prescribed Methimazole of course. These veggies have the EXACT same compound as the drug. But your body knows it is natural so it just helps and zero side effects! Within days his tests returned to normal and also go on no salt, no iodine diet with no prepackaged foods. So, grass fed meat with salad, etc. That combination will cure. His nodules were completely shrunk by applying a compress of castor oil to throat with warmth once daily for 45 minutes. You can internet search all this stuff to get more info as we did. (how to do compress, what veggies, etc). My gosh to go from fever, in bed, body aches, fatigue, to almost cured in a week defies the doctors meds for sure. Very challenging to pull off for meals etc, but was worth it! Graves Disease can be reversed. All the Thyro- soothe type products alone just are not hitting the nail on the head as well as you need to get over this, in our opinion. But we were desperate and not wanting side effects and thank God had a holistic doctor friend to steer us to the compress pack. Apparently castor oil packs have cured cysts/tumors for thousands of years...why don't doctors tell you to try it??? Also take Evening primrose oil 1300 daily and Oregano oil daily, B vitamin complex, and Probiotics, and no other supplements. So everything is concentrated on the thyroid. (oregano oil kills all viral and bacterial inflammation so probiotics replace good bacteria).

I have been using ThyroSoothe off and on for a year and a half it has worked great for me. It contains mother wort, lemon balm, and bugleweed. I first started using it in December of 2013 when I was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism (after feeling fatigued, nauseous, weak, shaky, and anxious for 10 months). It took four months to get my thyroid back to normal levels, ( I weaned myself off of it slowly once my T-3 and T-4 levels were back to normal). My Endocrinologist could not figure out what was causing it to be so out of control; she had me go through all the tests: Thyroid Uptake and Scan, and then an Ultra Sound, and blood tests. Then in September of 2014 I had a sinus infection and my ENT prescribed antibiotics and a Medrol pack (steroids) to reduce inflammation. About 2 weeks later my hands started shaking and I could feel my heart palpitating (my hyperthyroidism was back). I started taking ThyroSoothe again and I had my thyroSoothe back under control in 3 months. Then in February of 2015 I started using my Dymista nasal spray again for my allergies and within 5 days I had the Hyperthyroidism symptoms back. We finally figured out I am highly allergic and sensitive to any steroids whether in an Inhaler, or pill form, or in a nasal spray, or cream. This time It took me about 3 and a half months to get my thyroid back to normal. The way I take ThyroSoothe is I take it 3 times a day like the instructions on the bottle, for about 8 weeks, until I have felt normal again for at least 4 weeks. then I take it 2 times a day for another 3 weeks, then I take it 1 time a day for about 3 weeks, then I take in 2 times in one week , then I am finished. (about 15 weeks total) this time. I wean myself off of it slowly to make sure I am feeling normal and that I am not trying to get off of it to quickly. I am so grateful ThyroSoothe has worked for me.
