Ke$ha's monetary moniker is fitting. She's in it for the cash, some brief fame--she's the hardy partying equivalent to Taylor Swift, she eerily resembles Ashley Tisdale from High School Musical (Encore Edition) and her sound is the blander version of Lady GaGa. Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" is NOT named for the Oz character. While the chorus is guilty pleasure bubblegum pop with loads of auto-tune, the song itself is forgettable and repetitive. It does work for a throbbing night club, but beyond that--it's dull. "Tik Tok" will put you to sleep. In fact, her music video for this song so much echoes Lady GaGa's Just Dance that it opens with her in a bathtub. Yes,this is Lady GaGa's High School Musical equivalent.

My wife made me download this song, complaining that I don't have enough "new" music (I'm a classic rock fan - Floyd, Zeppelin, etc.) This is just another classic example of why current music is in the toilet. The song has a few catchy hooks, but the vocals are weak, the lyrics inane, and the singer appears to be someone they dragged off of a pole at the Cheetah Club and forced to record a song.

Thank God I was a child of the 70's and was exposed to decent music. This song makes me weep for the future. Kids, please go buy a copy of "Dark Side of the Moon" or "Abbey Road" instead of this.

I got this only because it was #1 on the charts at the time, which also made me belive that 16 yr old girls comprise this list. Overall its an ok song, maybe a remix of it would be better. Can artists use real letters in their names anymore? They are turning into hacker names.

Can't believe Amazon is charging $1.29 for this song! I like the song--I know it sounds like tripe but I still like it.

Ridiculous lyrics, catchy beat, sure to be a hit. I stay up at night wondering why I can't write such garbage and make money.

This is the champion of the worst songs to ever be released on the public. The message is garbage, the vocals sucks, the lyrics which I doubt she even writes are complete pathetic trash. The sad part is people like this tripe.

Initially, I was turned off by her whiny high-pitched voice in the first lines of the song. Every time those opening lines came on the radio, I totally rolled my eyes because it sounded like Ke$ha was sneering at me with an obnoxious party attitude. But since my local radio station played it a million times a day, I got used to her voice and talking/singing style and eventually got past the annoyance. The rest of the song is actually a decent dance pop song. Auto-Tune is very noticeably used. Naturally like many other dance pop songs, it's about partying and clubbing. The name dropping of Mick Jagger stood out in an odd way though but that's minor. The vibe of this song is more like dirty hard partying, and the video totally reflects that. I've grown to like this song, but it's not my favorite that's being played on the radio these days.

Great song but I'm not paying this. I can't belive you're charging the same price as iTunes. I come here so I don't have to pay their greed. So disappointing.

Song is catchy and fine but when did Amazon stoop down to the level of iTunes. Now they too are charging $1.29 for music? I'm sure the label companies were responsible for the price increase. Then label companies wonder why people rip music for free online. Just another example of greed superseding common sense. Good luck to them because Amazon won't be getting anymore of my mp3 money at these prices!

Lady GaGa blew in a funky new genre of music, (I mean that in a bad way) I like to refer to it as, Skank-Pop. This just like all of GaGa's music is good for nothing more than grinding on crazy stupid drunk chicks in the club, and even they wouldn't like this song unless they were crazy stupid drunk! Auto-tuned to death with the kind of lyrics that make us of the male race treat females like skanks. You want to know why some men expect you lady's to put out on the first date, and expect a more in depth conversation from a brick wall than from you, this is why. Your own kind is leading you all farther back into the times, soon men are going to try to take back your rights to vote and work! Ke$ha and "musicians" like her should be shot in the vocal chords!
