Great tasting, great price!,
By The picture of the packaging is accurate - they arrive in a paper bag, with an inner heavy plastic bag that to me appears as if it would keep them fresh for a long time. The bag inside is not a resealable plastic bag, so I recommend removing the berries and putting them in an airtight container in the fridge once opened. Highly recommended!

Good berries, packaging could be better,
By Uses: I throw a tablespoon or two mainly into cereal or on a salad. Occasionally I add them to meat dishes (where you might use raisins) or eat a few berries on their own. Others use them in trail mix and smoothies. Their taste (not to mention price) means you will not want to consume more than a few tablespoons at a time. This is the third brand of Goji berries I have tried, and I am now done with the first pound and starting on the second pound. I chose the "Tibet Authentic" brand because they were slightly cheaper than the previous price leader on Amazon Extreme Health, Michele's Wild Tibetan Goji Berries, 16-Ounce Bags (Pack of 2). I had some reservations because the reviews for the smaller Tibetan Authentic packages Tibet Authentic Goji Berries, 8-Ounce Bag (Pack of 3) were pretty harsh, complaining of poor quality berries and congealed masses that were hard to separate. Having now opened both packages, I can say that I cannot differentiate the quality of berries from Michele's and Authentic. As for the berries sticking together, it is possible that Authentic berries were a bit harder to separate, but nothing some shaking and prodding didn't solve. The one obvious error, and the main reason I took off one star, was that the inner plastic bags are not re-sealable (Michele's are, as were the first brand I tried - Navitas) and keeping the inner bag inside the outer bag is inconvenient. I keep my Goji berries at room temperature (in another review, one guy had pretty bad experience with refrigerating his Gojis) and it seems that my pace of consumption was quick enough that having them in an open plastic bag worked... but I would have preferred a sealed bag with a Ziploc.

I got these because I love to carry trail mix with me, and the description of Goji berries made me think they might be like dried persimmons, which I love. They do remind me of that a little, and I like them very much. They have an unusual taste, but are a nice addition to my trail mix.

If you can find Authentic Goji Berries, grab several bags. I was so pleased to see that these come in multiple bags and were ALOT cheaper than [...]. I put these in Breakfast cookies along with Hemp seed which makes a very nutritious way to start the day.

I have been eating Goji berries daily for almost two years. I recently purchased two 8 ounce bags of Tibet Authentic berries. I followed the package instructions after opening the first bag, wrapped it and secured it with a rubber band (it is not resealable)and refrigerated it. When I took the bag out of the refrigerator the next day, the berries were like one solid rock. I tried three days to contact the owner of Tibet Authentic (Mr. Jacobson) and was never able to find him in. For three days I only got an answering service. I left at least seven messages to return my call. He never did. For the second bag, I will separate the berries first and repack them prior to refrigeration. But in the future, I will buy the more expensive berries.

Goji berries from tibet bought in Amazon are better!I bought these goji berries (same brand) in other places before, but those have been almost black, and the goji berries recieved from amazon are freshier, so the color is red. Never get scamed: If you don't recieve red berries, they are not fresh. THANKS AMAZON!

These are slightly sweet and tart. They taste like cherry, raisin, cranberry and strawberry mix together. We were looking for something high in minerals, vitamin and antioxidant and my research lead us to Goji berries. Tibet Goji berries are so moist and flavorful I don't need to soak them before using them. It adds a great nutrient boost to your shakes and smoothies. Will definitely keep buying.

I saw a person mention that he put these in the fridge and they hardened up into a brick... these things are more or less a pack full of raisins. If you did the same thing with raisins or prunes they would harden up into a brick of semi-dried fruit as well.We just leave ours out in a little bowel on our counter and they are just fine. I mix them with some cashews and grab a handful when I walk by during the day. I would recommend mixing these with raisins AND nuts actually because Goji berries in general aren't that sweet. They look like little dried cranberries, but they have this earthy/gritty taste that is sort of... blech. Not nasty, just earthy and not-sweet at all. I mix a handful of mine with raisins or a prune or two to help mask that, cause otherwise it is sort of unpleasant to chew up and swallow a mouthful. I do have a sweet tooth though and like sweeter things; so if you are not that into sweets and usually fairly sensitive to sweet things (e.g. cake makes you gag) you might think these are sweet enough... I just blow my palette out with ice cream more often than I should :) Packaged well and shipped fast, I would definitely order these again.

Unlike previous Goji berries I've tried, these are moist and delicious! I add a few to my oatmeal, salad or just eat a few plain like nuts or raisins. I've tried them in my juicer, but they didn't do well. Be sure to store them in the refrigerator after you open them (I put them into a sealed plastic bag). I'll definitely order these again - enjoy!

This was my first try with Goji berries so cant compare this to any other brand, they were very dry for sure. But I think this is a big scam, the reason I bought this was because I thought I was helping the people of Tibet, standing up for their cause. I was instead funneling money to the perpetrators, the peoples republic...never again!!!
