Authentic,

This review is from: Tibetan Buddhism (Audio CD)
This is authentic Tibetan tantric chanting and instrumentation recorded on location at the Khampagar Monastery almost 30 years ago. It is an integral part of the sadhana and invocation of Padmasambhava and the fierce dharma protector Mahakala. It is a deeply moving meditation for those who have been initiated into this easily misunderstood tradition. This recording was never intended as enhancement for the "New Age" feelgood expectations implied by one reviewer.

The real thing!!,

It ain't "new age." Authentic meditation to specificlly invoke the higher self, the divine self. The holy and sacred places w/in ourselves that is the closest we can get to the roof of our world w/in our heart. The holy man/woman w/in each of us. This recording is close to 30 years old. There are others done by the same producer that are just as rare, just as sacred. All of them are good. When I need to see my holy woman, it's this & the others by David Lewiston that I tune in to.

A great meditation guide.,

This CD is fantastic for a 30-50 minute meditation. Play it at a low volume, and soon you begin to resonate with the chants. It will take you down and gently bring you back up. I highly recommend it.
