Book Description

July 21, 1998
Tibetan culture has honored the divinatory arts for millennia. In the 12th century, one ancient system known as Mo was recorded on a manuscript. Mo was used by monks to answer the urgent practical questions of laypeople. Now, translated into English for the first time, this medieval text is available as a decision-making guide for modern readers.

Many divination systems give answers that are cryptic and hard to decipher. The Tibetan Oracle gives clear direction on whether it would be wise to pursue a given action or not, and what the consequences of the action are likely to be. The esoteric knowledge of the Tibetans taught them that nature is constantly changing. Going against the elemental forces, personified by four gods (Yama/Wind, Agni/Fire, Varuna/Water, and Indra/Earth), could mean disaster, while taking advantage when these forces are favorable results in success. Use this oracle to help you with decision-making, from whether to take a new job or relocate to when to invest or ask for a raise. Timing is everything, so let this oracle show you when to act--and when not to.

4.0 out of 5 stars Accurate and Powerful Oracle, September 15, 2005

This review is from: The Tibetan Oracle: Ancient Wisdom for Everyday Guidance (Paperback)
This is a very easy to use little oracle book. Don't worry about carving your own dice, like it suggests in the book, but follow its directions of using two coins instead. I tried this method and it works very well. Just be sure to warm up the coins in your hand before tossing them to impart your energy on them and concentrate on your question or issue. I find it also helps in any situation like this to call upon your guides, angels, God, Buddha, whatever you want to call them, before using this oracle. I've been amazed at its accuracy and insight so far. My only concern would be that with it being such a small book, if you over-used it, the answers may become a little repetitive. Just use it sparingly, for the questions/issues that really matter to you.

5.0 out of 5 stars straight forward........direct..nothing to dicipher, October 6, 1999

This review is from: The Tibetan Oracle: Ancient Wisdom for Everyday Guidance (Paperback)
i very much enjoy/enjoyed this little book ... of the many different systems of divination i have explored and experimented with over the last 20 years or so this one is the most direct and easy. nothing to maybe it means this about. i have tried it several times each time doubting it's accuracy but it has never failed yet. i also like it because doesn't get so lofty and esoteric unlike I-CHING and some other systems. i found on a fluke this summer on trip back from NJ i stopped at cigarette outlet in NC? and their books were discounted after looking over the books while i waited for a friend to purchase cigs i left and went back in compelled to look one more time surely i would find something and i did. i am thankful i followed my gut, i am bit surprised that in all these years it hadn't come to my attention sooner OH WELL........GO FIGURE!!!!!!!!!!!
