Book Description

Tibitz: A Land of No Lies... is an easy to read, full color children's book, written as a poem, that explains the dangers of learning to lie. Tibitz tells of a land where no one learned how to lie. "Where kittens could talk, and mountains could sing, and if you just closed your eyes, you might find yourself king..." Tibitz had only one law: NEVER TO LIE. "For lies are the ruin of wonderful men, if you do it just once, you'll do it again..." Tibitz only takes a moment to read but its message will last a lifetime. Tibitz is a must read for all children and parents alike. Tibitz has a durable hard cover which is spiral bound for easy viewing. Contains 36 full color pastel drawings.

I cried when I read this book. I am 28 years old and I keep Tibitz by my nightstand. It reminds me of the goodness still left in the world. I recommend this book to men and women (children too) of all ages.

5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic story!!, August 27, 2000

This review is from: Tibitz: A Land Of No Lies (Spiral-bound)
This book is written for children to instill values of honesty and morals. Despite that it is written for children, I read it and found it amazing. I am 31 years old with no children but found it inspirational. I, as an adult, appreciated its simplicity. We all make life more complicated than it has to be. The world of Tititz is ideal and can be achieved if we all just strive to be happy and appreciate those around us. Everyone should read this book. It is worth the short time it takes to read and will be a book you will want to read over and over and share with those around you. If you have children, it is a definite must.

5.0 out of 5 stars What Tibitz:A Land Of No Lies is about, June 27, 2000

This review is from: Tibitz: A Land Of No Lies (Spiral-bound)
When a stranger came up to my family and I, and gave us 'Tibitz:A Land Of No Lies' and said "For your little ones.", pointing to my friend and I, I got a little upset. I am almost 12, and the idea of a stranger giving me a picture book was ridiculous. Of course, we took it. When seeing the price ($12.95), we thought 'wow, this is pretty expensive!' As we started reading it, it seemed like a book meant for 4-year-olds, who are just learning to read. The words were short and easy, with bright pictures to go along. About halfway, my friend and I really got into the book. It is a very fast-flowing book, and we kept reading, and soon, we were done. This is a very suitable book for ALL ages. It teaches the meaning of life, and one of the most important rules of all: Not to lie. I have read this book at least 50 times, and it NEVER gets old. To me, it is a timeless classic, like Winnie-The-Pooh, or Cinderella. Children will enjoy flipping through this book. I am almost 12 years old, so I am writing this review from a child's point of view. If you have a child my age, I assure you they will love reading it over and over and over. It is all worth it! I have read it so much that I almost have it memorized in my head! Now, I think that the price on the book is not expensive at all. It is all worth it! Enjoy this book as a child or an adult.
